No, not for good....but for a while. He's going to SERE Survival training the end of May (Survival, Evasion,Resistance,Escape) which lasts about 3 weeks. It's hell on earth! Then in September he's going to Ranger training. Not to become a Ranger, just getting the training under his belt. I was pretty nervous the whole time he was in afghanistan this winter, just knowing the type of job he has now. He used to be a fueler and absolutely hated it. My worse experience was when he was in Baghdad all of 2006 with the 101st Airborne! But they ALL came home safe! 2 weeks after they left there, the compound they were living in got completely demolished by mortars. He's a very strong Christian, and said he knows he was protected many times over there. He's married with 3 beautiful children & live in NC. His wife is the most supportive person I've ever met, and encourages him to do what he wants to do. He had a hard time deciding to get into Psy Ops, but she supported him all the way. She really is the perfect military wife! Their faith in God is their strength. I know if anything ever happens to him (God forbid!) that he was doing what he loved. Still not easy.......
