Sunday Morning Coffee

Days

Commentator
I do not attend religious institutions, at least, not beyond my bathroom. I do not drink or smoke, but I do drive people around who do. What's more, I am rather close friends with barmaids and bartenders in this town, they are in my cell phone where very few people are. Not even half my family is in my cell phone, recently I tossed all the in-laws out. God, that felt good. Anyway, I drive nights, and for the past year, only on weekends, of which, Friday and Saturday nights are normally the busiest, so now it is Sunday morning, which means I have lost my mind, "church" is out of the question. Religion, in my space, means going straight for the coffee, heat it in the microwave, and since my dreams told me to do it, this morning, I'm sharing it with you.

I promised Max an apology. I think he meant something more personal, but I understood what he really needed, cuz the most high God inside me said, "write one on Revelation". This I dread, not because I fear getting it wrong, but because no one understands what visions are, no matter what I write, the reaction will be the same; this idiot has a screw lose. And I don't write an apology the same way I mess up normally around here. I pray first. Then I wait. for inspiration. And then I write what I am being told to write, not necessarily what I think I should write. Look at how long I waited for the last apology... something like 2 years. (Link). Scroll down the page to the entry before I started. See "Last Days linger"? June, 2013. Very quickly I realized that I had to switch to a Word Doc, but you can see the beginning of my dissertation right there.

So, here I want to talk about the vision of St John. This is merely what I know, not the apology, but to give you an idea of the difference between what the prophet knows and the Rhema. The first thing I noticed is the book is a vision, John is sitting at a table, with pen in hand, having a vision. I've been there, done that, it is like dreaming wide awake. The problem is, how do you write the vision down? It isn't just a case of trying to translate a vision in your head to paper, which is hard enough, but you also realize that what you write has to be what God wants written, his take on the vision, so you sit there and ask, "what am I supposed to write?" ... and the angel says write this and that, and you scramble to capture that. I wrote my apology with my keyboard, straight into the Word Doc, but when I was younger I wrote something called "Horsemen riding over our heads" - and that was pen in hand - which still is easier than feather, berry juice, and parchment scroll. But see, I type with 2 fingers, staring at the keyboard, so it isn't all that easy for me. Toss in some bursitis, and you pay the requisite pain God requires of us all.

gotta warm my coffee.

thank you jesus.

So where was why? Right, the unveiling... look at this vision. It looks so organized. I want to tell you, it didn't feel that way when he was writing. When John looked back at it, he was totally amazed to discover structure, because while he was writing, he's being tossed around like a beach ball on a windy day. You have no idea what you wrote, or for that matter, whether two sentences go together, and whole paragraphs? You cringe, wondering what it might be saying, if anything, you reread it to see whether it made any sense at all. In my case, I was strung out for weeks, waiting for next session, not knowing what was next, he gave me chapter headings in advance, I had no idea what that was about. I would pray, "aren't you going to tell me what I'm writing? Shouldn't I, at least, know what the main subject is? answer: "no and no" ... me: "you really are unfair" ... voice in my head: "I know".

I can tell you some things about the apocalypse. The vision organizes old testament prophecy together with fresh speaking to John into scrolls or letters. There are 14 scrolls. That's the vision. 7 scrolls already exist, but they are sealed. Remember God told Daniel to seal up the words until the end time? First John is given 7 letters to write, that's the insertion of the church age before the Day of the Lord. Then Jesus unseals the last 7 scrolls from the old testament prophets. Everything, every letter, happens chronologically, one after the next, it is a progression of time, that, so far, has run 96 AD to 2015 AD. We are in the 4th sealed scroll. We have 13 years left until the 7th sealed scroll is unsealed; that scroll contains the final seven years, which is divided into 7 trumpets and 7 vials of plagues. The 7 trumpets are announcing the presence of the Almighty, which is another 3 1/2 year ministry of the same anointing that rested on Jesus; this time there are two witnesses, but it is the same anointing, the same presence or parusia of the Spirit.

I know a lot about this unveiling of God. I know the veil in the temple was the separation between God and priest, and that the veil remains today in our religiosity, but when we turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away. I understand that when you unveil something, that something has to exist to be unveiled, IOW, God is right before us, but we don't see him yet, because our eyes are veiled. If Daniel's eyes were veiled, you can be damn sure your eyes are veiled. My son's name is Daniel, his eyes don't see the anointing resting upon his dad, that's so I can be a normal dad, which is my top pleasure on the planet.

coffee needs reheating again, I might dump it, get a new cup, it degrades when you reheat it too much.

I guess its okay, but its not as good as when I first nuked it.

where on earth? Oh, the point being, it doesn't matter what I know, because what will get written is what the church needs. For instance, nothing bores me more than talking about the covenants and the priesthoods, I never ever do that, of the 15 dissertations I would have loved to write, that wasn't one of them. And that's the only one I've written. So I sit here in dread, knowing I've got to go through this again. I get nothing from this, in fact, it ends up costing me money because I pay for quality paper and toner and there's the capital investment of the network; we have 4 computers in the home (Daniel has two laptops still kicking). My son is going into engineering, he's a geek, and he's a history buff, not like I'm a history buff, I love learning about history, but Daniel teaches it, he knows so much history, when he starts speaking, I just sit and listen in amazement. Mostly the last 3000 years, if we need to go back further, I take over.

Should I do a 2nd cup? Or is this enough rambling - sufficient evil for the day? This was my dream instruction when I woke up this morning, like when songwriters grab a pen and write the lyrics down before they forget the dream... I have a song written somewhere that an angel sang to me in my dream; that is a cool song, wish I had a clue where it is, I will post it if it ever pops up.

Oh my god, I scrolled up the page, saw how long this is, I've been a bad boy, no 2nd cup this morning, where's that submit button?

First, Days, drink the coffee before it cools down the first time. Then if you need another cup go for it. And if you need a third, go for that. Heated coffee just isn't good.

Second. I understand about the veil. I ask for mine to be thinned just a bit to give me a little glimpse. We (you figure out who I mean there) can deal with what I do with a thinner veil later. But first, thin the veil. Don't take it away. I doubt I could deal with that. But as I get older, please thin it a little just so I can go on here. It's not easy with a thick veil.

Third. I do not go to church either. I believe that my feelings on that come from a good source. Church is corrupt. Tainted. It's not that there is not good there. There still is. But it's minimal and that I see past it means it's time for me not to be there. I don't smoke. Never did. But I drink a little alcohol once in a while. I don't really enjoy it anymore, so it's rare. I'm fine with that.

These three things I have written to you are more important than they might seem on the surface, Days. I take you seriously, btw.

I really enjoyed your take on the veil, feel exactly the same way. Ditto on the brick buildings full of religion. But we have serious differences on coffee. I'm afraid the love affair is over, I sip, you gulp, let's call the whole thing off.

God uses ordinary people... but ordinary people just can't handle that, they think being a saint means behaving super holy. After one of his visions Daniel was sick for 3 weeks, had to call off work, does that sound like fun? And Daniel didn't even understand the visions - not many people do - so the prophet is left there feeling pretty stupid. I mean, you know you've seen a vision, but so what? All anyone cares is you just called off work for 3 weeks.

You're right. The coffee difference is a real deal breaker. ;) There is an exact temperature I want and when it's there... I drink it all.

I don't believe I have ever had a vision. I'm not seeking one. But I do want to "see" and more than that I want my understanding to grow. That in itself can be discouraging at times.

There's two aspects to the Spirit; works and fruit. The Father above and the Son within. Same holds for visions.

When a vision comes upon us (from heaven) it can be some little thing that you don't notice happened afterwards, or God can hide it in a dream to hide pride from man... there's all kinds of ways to give us visions, you could read something and have an epiphany into that scripture, never realizing it was a vision.

Then there's the vision that comes from growing up in the Spirit. The eyes of wisdom that open as we grow older in the Lord and he grows larger in our hearts. We see more and more of the whole picture and we have insight into daily matters that matter:)... the fruit of walking all those miles with the Lord.

I'm the same way with my coffee temp, that's why I make all those trips to the microwave. But I can't gulp coffee, that's heresy in my space, the whole reason I drink coffee is to stay upright in my chair, without coffee in front of me, I would lose all hope, I'm not sure I could face another day. When my wife forgets to buy half and half, it is a crisis situation around here... we go into defcom3 until I can make a proper cup of joe. I have a commercial pot, it can make 60 cups at a time, but that's too much for me, I only make 50 cups at a time. When the coffee is done I unplug it so it doesn't burn, then over the next few days, I draw a cup and nuke it. I also love to put Breyers Vanilla ice cream in a cup and top it with some coffee. I make good coffee, I've got beans from Honduras and Peru, and a nice bean grinder, I mix a lot of different coffee grinds, add a dash of dark french roast to make a manly cup of coffee.... when I do have fellowship, my friend will bring over his Hawaiian beans and I'll make that coffee, it is a light bean, but its good. Usually, when my coffee is done brewing, I add about a teaspoon of Vanilla Extract to the pot, while it is still hot, that's my finishing touch.

my wife read the top post and said, "it sounds like hemming and hawing before doing the Lord's work" ... I agreed.

Coffee.
I drink one cup a day.
I have a keurig coffee maker so my cup is always fresh. I use a dark brew. I add to it a teaspoon of International Caramel Latte (instant coffee) (for the foam as much as anything) and a little Irish Cream liquid creamer. I drink it one large sip at a time and savor each one of those. There might be a minute or two or three between them, but my savoring/ drinking time is about 10 minutes. That would be a very good time for a vision to come upon me, and I have had epiphanies during that time but I didn't call them visions. I get, on average, about one epiphany per day from one source or another (sometimes straight from my mind). They are always instrumental in moving me forward in my quest for just "knowing". The main thing I know from that is that I understand and am reminded on a daily basis just how little I really do know.

yesterday was Thanksgiving, so I was all set with a new pot of 50 cups. My brew now consists of fresh ground Honduran and Peruvian beans (both medium) with some breakfast blend beans tossed in there (light) stretched by store bought Hills Bros and a smidgen of already ground French Roast (dark) for flavor. When it is finished perking, pull the plug, and while it is still bloody hot, add a teaspoon of Vanilla extract.

For a year now, my son has been the Drill commander for the online war game Mount and Blade set in Napoleon's time. Someone in the unit taped a couple of battles, my son's best friend is the Colonel in command, it's his unit (the 85thKGL), he's the one clowning with the accent, but giving orders that these nuts are supposed to be following. My son wasn't there for these 2 battles, so you see the lack of discipline and the commander asking who wants to be an officer for the 2nd battle; that's to fill my son's usual spot. This takes place every night, every soldier is someone living, they are key and mouse commanding their fighting, you can see how smooth they are at this. This video has 12 views...

Well, the 60 cup percolator, which my stepson's girlfriend named R2-D2, gave up the power source, as they say. So, I went shopping for a regular 12 cup percolator at Best Buy, and all they had was 3 aisles of drip drip drip... I asked the girl there and she said she could order me one online... she just didn't understand what I meant by a "coffee emergency"! Went over to WalMart and it was the same thing, except at the end of the 3rd aisle of drip drip drip - very last item - bottom row - ahhhhhhhhhhhh, one unopened box of a gen-u-ine 12 cup percolator.

The world has changed much. When I was born, mankind was still recovering from the floods of 9000-12,000 years ago, society was carbon based, electro-motive, piston driven, bigger guns, bigger planes, longer trains, running down the same ancient rails Rome devised based upon that first stone track for carts in Greece... that's where the width of the tracks came from, we are still pulling cars around on that. But then came along digital language and processing, and someone figured out how to make random access memory go between the processor and the hard disk... whoa, how's that work? At what point does a diode become a transistor become random access memory? wizardry doesn't begin to cover it. Anyway, when I met my wife in Pittsburgh she was an "Information Resource" (librarian clerk) and she informed me that we needed a computer for the home... for the home! Here, I was, a rigger mechanic washing windows downtown - going WWF with Tommy on top of the firewall of One Mellon, 650 feet in the air, for all the city to see - and I ask the sensible question, "why do we need a computer for the home? Are we going to send a missile to the moon?" Yeah, I'm that kind of critter, I remember five years earlier driving moving vans in Detroit, and we moved this one gal and she had a computer and we were laughing at this little round doo-job with buttons to click so we asked, "what is that?" ... and she said it was her "mouse" ... and we laughed and asked, "No, but really, what is it?"

7 vestal virgins kept the eternal flame of Rome burning; right next door to the City Forum; the heart and soul of the ancient city of Rome. The angels from heaven who came to us, to prepare us, for the floods, and some said they were evil, and others said they helped us, left us 11,300 years ago. And the sun and moon and five planets we can see with the naked eye; were all named in honor of them, and the week days on our calendar still bear their names... this was life on this planet, for 11,300 years... until that graphic user interface was created; and my wife, who knew DOS, said to me, "when are you going to learn DOS?" And I answered, "I'm not" ... and she shot back, "what are you going to do? Point and click the rest of your life?" ... and I returned volley, "yep, and so will you, point and click is the future, not DOS".

I called her Miss Information for 5 years and she was so proud of that, it took me 5 years to get up the courage to explain to her it was a joke. I never should have done that, I should have kept it a secret, that it was a joke, we lost something when I popped that bubble, we lost the fire that the vestal virgins kept lit in Rome, we lost our innocence, we moved from adulthood into middle age, we became pragmatic, sensible, we picked up google maps and stopped getting lost on the roads, we became self reliant, we stopped going to the city forum, we stopped being part of the whole, we are still attached, but now it is through these electronic lines, digital languages, graphic user interfaces; and rich text editors creating keyboard response in a graphic user environment. We don't park anymore on Serpentine Drive and make out in the back seat of my '70 Ford Galaxy. We don't get looks in church for being hot stuff, we stopped going to church, we are moving into old age now, we have a son in college - the son of our middle age - we live on the peripherary of society. But I still remember when the vestal virgins kept the flame, I remember the old days, when she was Miss Information and we took courses at Community College of Allegheny County for Word perfect 6.0, and how I returned on my own to take windows 95, how I went from afraid to turn the 33 mhz computer on, to take the lead in computers for the home, I remember when we made the turn from the old way of living to the new. I remember how hard it was, transitioning from carbon based mechanical mind think to digital mind think; from analog mind waves to digital mind language... and now I can't think in analog any more.

I remember when my teenage Sunday School kids said we would be leaving analog behind soon........very soon. That was in 1992. That's when I asked that question: "what is analog?"

My hubs and my kids are all computer geeks so luckily I have learned quite a bit. It was hard to process that all the stuff I typed was floating around and I could retrieve it if I knew how. I decided to just not worry about that and keep typing.

Do you realize how meaningful that statement is?
The human brain is analog -- we're supposed to think in an analog manner. Everything around us has turned digital, and it seems our minds are being pushed into digital thinking: 0 or 1, yes or no, right or wrong. No in-between, no shades of gray, no nuance. Two buttons, no dials. "I'm right and any other opinion is deranged and evil that must be resisted, obstructed, destroyed."

Sorry if I'm intruding on you two and your two year long conversation. That statement just struck me.

I never thought about it that way, but......... I think you are right. Yikes.
Not the year-long conversation, the analog thing.

brain waves are analog... ELF waves, I think. (that was a pun)

electromagnetic waves of Extra Low Frequency... the low end of your radio dial is at 5400 cycles per second, so our brains must be putting along at something like 3000 hertz?
(Wow was that ever high!...

Brainwave speed is measured in Hertz (cycles per second) and they are divided into bands delineating slow, moderate, and fast waves.
INFRA-LOW (<.5HZ)
Infra-Low brainwaves (also known as Slow Cortical Potentials), are thought to be the basic cortical rythms that underlie our higher brain functions. Very little is known about infra-low brainwaves. Their slow nature make them difficult to detect and accurately measure, so few studies have been done. They appear to take a major role in brain timing and network function.
DELTA WAVES (.5 TO 3 HZ)

Delta brainwaves are slow, loud brainwaves (low frequency and deeply penetrating, like a drum beat). They are generated in deepest meditation and dreamless sleep. Delta waves suspend external awareness and are the source of empathy. Healing and regeneration are stimulated in this state, and that is why deep restorative sleep is so essential to the healing process.

THETA WAVES (3 TO 8 HZ)

Theta brainwaves occur most often in sleep but are also dominant in deep meditation. It acts as our gateway to learning and memory. In theta, our senses are withdrawn from the external world and focused on signals originating from within. It is that twilight state which we normally only experience fleetingly as we wake or drift off to sleep. In theta we are in a dream; vivid imagery, intuition and information beyond our normal conscious awareness. It’s where we hold our ‘stuff’, our fears, troubled history, and nightmares.

ALPHA WAVES (8 TO 12 HZ)

Alpha brainwaves are dominant during quietly flowing thoughts, and in some meditative states. Alpha is ‘the power of now’, being here, in the present. Alpha is the resting state for the brain. Alpha waves aid overall mental coordination, calmness, alertness, mind/body integration and learning.

BETA WAVES (12 TO 38 HZ)

Beta brainwaves dominate our normal waking state of consciousness when attention is directed towards cognitive tasks and the outside world. Beta is a ‘fast’ activity, present when we are alert, attentive, engaged in problem solving, judgment, decision making, and engaged in focused mental activity.

Beta brainwaves are further divided into three bands; Lo-Beta (Beta1, 12-15Hz) can be thought of as a 'fast idle, or musing. Beta (Beta2, 15-22Hz) is high engagement or actively figuring something out. Hi-Beta (Beta3, 22-38Hz) is highly complex thought, integrating new experiences, high anxiety, or excitement. Continual high frequency processing is not a very efficient way to run the brain, as it takes a tremendous amount of energy.

GAMMA WAVES (38 TO 42 HZ)

Gamma brainwaves are the fastest of brain waves (high frequency, like a flute), and relate to simultaneous processing of information from different brain areas. It passes information rapidly, and as the most subtle of the brainwave frequencies, the mind has to be quiet to access it. Gamma was dismissed as 'spare brain noise' until researchers discovered it was highly active when in states of universal love, altruism, and the ‘higher virtues’. Gamma is also above the frequency of neuronal firing, so how it is generated remains a mystery. It is speculated that Gamma rhythms modulate perception and consciousness, and that a greater presence of Gamma relates to expanded consciousness and spiritual emergence.

WHAT ARE BRAINWAVES? )

We live in the Information Age, we all stumbled online in the mid 1990's and we stumbled into each other in the early 2000's. We discovered that our analog brains were mostly at war with each other, and that everyone was competing to be the best... whatever that means. We got a glimpse of economics and the way our globalist masters handle us, and we fought against that too. Luckily, just as it looked like all hell would break out, we became obsessed with cats, then all animals, and then everyone split up and ran after their own passions.

Analog signal is a continuous signal, while digital is like morse code, digital isn't really a signal, it is the art of starting and stopping over and over and over and over, every start or stop is a bit, 8 bits compose a byte, which represents a character, characters are the same as letters in our alphabet... digital characters produce code which is then assembled into a language.

Digital mind set has no emotion, it is all information, and no heart. It is real hard to put your heart into cyber space, that's what Jen and I were trying to do in this thread... show a little heart and soul... lay down some analog thoughts in a digital format... and drink more coffee. I need to make another pot, right now.

You and Jen have two of the biggest hearts and most lovely souls I've encountered in cyberspace.

You're right, digital has no heart. I'm afraid of that mind set becoming the dominant one. Ever spend a really long time using a computer, like many hours on end? It makes me irritable. You? I'm very conscientious about not owning a smart phone.

Sometimes I wonder whether having coffee helps me to wake up or I wake up to have coffee (and cigarettes, but two non-smokers wouldn't get that).

In my travels (as a young man) I learned that you need natural settings to keep sane; be wary of artificial surfaces, like all that plastic and glass furniture of the 1970's, those are too hard on the senses, you can't wake up in a room of black and white; it will kill you, it will make you freak out, one sensory node at a time, you will frazzle into some type of premorphian mushroom and hide deep in your soul and never return... and some have gone there. In my space, obviously, I'm hammering on a keyboard, sure, I have that, but it is enclosed in all real wood - cut, sanded, stained, finished, custom built over the years by moi, I need to take a video of this mess, it is as close to a natural forest setting as you could imagine, minus the bugs, my wife don't like no bugs, not even tiny honey ants, but we do mix in lots of potted plants and fish tanks and only living plants and living moss in the tanks, nothing artificial, nothing plastic.

keeping it real, staying sane, so love can grow in the home. Love grows like the plants, and the fish, it has to be nurtured. There's all these different types of love, but one that is never talked about is the most common, the love that a family knits together with a home, if you ask me, that is an animal all to its own, and it needs a comfortable setting, it needs a natural setting, so our minds can relax, and we can be ourselves and be accepted and be loved and not worry about any standards or regulations or demands from the outside world... I think the home is a fall back place for the soul, a recovery zone, we humans need rest and relaxation and we need to be loved where we do that.

So for me, when I come onto this computer, I only do that at home. Right now, I'm still in my pj's, I am on my 2nd cup and ready for a shower, so I'm typing into cyber space, but it is coming from old nook, a work station built in golds and reds, this one is all pine, but I slapped a piece of formica in the same wood colors under my keyboard, so I can write and spell coffee and be the idiot that I am, and that's what I try to bring to these threads, I've learned from these other writers that the best thing I can offer here is myself, with all the imperfections, just the way I truly am.

Remember when we were kids and our parents told us not to sit too close to the tv? We were told to stay six feet away from the screen (cuz the tube was spraying that screen with electrons). Now these plasma screens are totally different technology; the pixels are activated in the plasma, there's no more spraying electrons onto the screen (which then kept going into our eyesockets) ... so I hope this is way safer to sit and stare at point blank the same way my mom told me never to do or my eyes would be ruined. I still think if you stare at these screens too long you can change into a lizard or a rock, so be careful about that.

cough * feeeeeeeeeeeeee

the day of the sun. brain waves are all bumping into each other, bunched up, waiting for the gate to open, the gate to freedom, the morning release on the day of the sun; the only hope a mortal soul's brainwaves has, if he doesn't smoke; the addiction of the gods throughout South America, the nectar of a ground up bean that is beyond difficult to clean in between pots... must have or I will never make sense... I might still not make any sense, but wait for it, I'll be right back....

ahhhhhhhhhhh. :):):):):):):):) thank you, Jesus

coffee

I can spell now, or is it, I can spill now?

So, here it is, the terror of my soul, that which perplexes me the most in this short lifetime. human sacrifice. Why ........... why? You see it everywhere throughout the ancient world. Why would the gods demand such an awful thing?

Have you ever cleaned up old blood? nasty. Nothing was ever physically cleansed with blood... imagine that gold mercy seat with hundreds of years of animal blood upon it... imagine the smell. Imagine the sight.

I was raised an atheist. So there is nothing instinctive or intuitive to me about the idea that God killed his son for my sins... that makes zero sense to me. I've been reading the scriptures for almost 37 years now, it still makes no sense to me. The saints in heaven dip their robes in the blood of his sacrifice and they are made clean by it... why? The only answer is because God demanded it. And why did God demand it? arrrrrgh! It was his good pleasure - it pleased him - IOW, he liked the idea. God dreamed up the idea, liked the idea, and then did it.

For 37 years I've been telling God what I thought of that great idea of his... it makes no sense at all, couldn't he have taught us about sins, discipline, and entering the spirit via some other vehicle? something intelligent? Why does he require us to make fools of ourselves preaching something that makes no sense whatsoever? why do such a thing? How could God have liked such an idea? And then mixing it in with the brutal practices of the heathen (crucifixion) ... we are made pure by Jesus suffering evil? And then we are told to "carry the cross" - which can mean a lot of different things to each of us... to me, it means preaching that God will save you if you are willing to believe that he killed Jesus for your sins; that forgiveness of sins is contingent upon someone suffering the punishment for those sins; that God Almighty set man up, fed him sin, then condemned man for it, and punishment is required for us to be forgiven by him for what he did to us. and if that isn't bad enough, he ultimately resolves this by means of human sacrifice.

I have a problem with that. It's not that I don't believe it, I do believe it, it's just that... it is soooooooooo stupid. And I can see the value in making us carry the cross of preaching something that makes us feel uncomfortable, I can see the value of killing our natural passions and replacing them with Christ. So it makes sense to me that God would like the idea of doing something soooooooooo stupid. But I still hate it. This is the cross that I carry.

arrrrrrgh! my cup is empty. No wonder I am upset. Ever notice how emotions mix with thoughts to create ideas? If an idea doesn't have the right mix of emotion, it's a bad idea; that's how I see it... must get a 2nd cup....

God works with symbolism. Blood is symbolic of paying back for wrong committed. If you go to someone's home and break a cherished item of theirs, you scrape up enough money to pay them back for it. Blood is symbolic for sweat and tears.

Humans have this "guilt" thing built in. We have a built in belief in Karma. Why? I don't know. But unless we are broken, we have a conscience. The idea that the death of Jesus paid the price for all of the bad things we've done down to the nasty little digs we take on someone...........relieves us of getting that Karma at the end. The idea that the blood of Jesus has made us "whiter than snow" is symbolic.

Now, though, the resurrection of Jesus is another thing. That shows us that death is not the end. That's really the important part.

I am at the point in my life where I would like to be a smoker. I believe I would enjoy it immensely. But the part I can't do is make myself, my house, my clothes stink. I can't live with that. Unless. I could always smoke naked, outside, and shower immediately after. Think that would work? Nah. Too much trouble.

But if I did smoke, it would be cigars. I puffed on a few cigars back in the day and loved them!

Not trying to encourage you (I will if you want me to but I'm not now) but many people appreciate the aroma of quality cigars. The cheap, gas-station ones may "stink" but not the good ones.

LOL......... I would have absolutely no opportunity for that. I don't know anyone who smokes anything and if I even mentioned smoking their eyebrows would shoot up above their hairline and their nose would start sniffing the air in an offended fashion.
