The real "Hands up, don't shoot"?

Where are Al Sharpton and Barack Obama calling for ju$tice? Where is Bill DiBlasio inciting people to kill cops in revenge? Where are the major "news" networks? Where are our watchdog lefties on PJ?

A man and his 6-year old son were gunned down by two cops, while the man allegedly had his hands up.

The father of 6-year-old Jeremy Mardis, the boy who was shot to death by police last week while a passenger in his dad's vehicle, had his hands up as officers opened fire, police body camera video shows, according to the father's lawyer.

Mark Jeansonne, attorney for Chris Few, first told The Associated Press that body camera video shows Few with his hands in the air before city marshals fired at Few's vehicle, severely wounding Few and killing his son.

"This was not a threatening situation for the police," Jeansonne said.

CBS News also reported that Few had his hands raised in the police video, citing an anonymous law enforcement source. The news organization reported that Jeansonne had not viewed the video himself, but that its contents were described by a judge during a hearing on Monday.

Jeansonne's office declined to comment when reached by HuffPost. Louisiana State Police, in charge of the investigation into the shooting, declined to comment. State police Master Trooper Scott Moreau emailed HuffPost a gag order issued by Judge William J. Bennett late Monday barring all involved in the case from speaking about it to the media.

State Police Superintendent Col. Mike Edmonson, announcing the arrests of two of the four officers involved in the shooting, said Friday that the body camera video "is one of the most disturbing scenes I have seen."

Lt. Derrick Stafford, 32, and Norris Greenhouse Jr., 23, each have been charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder, state police said Friday.

Stafford is an officer with the Marksville police department. Greenhouse is a city marshal for the Alexandria City Office. Each were jailed under $1 million bond.

I'm guessing one or both of the victims are white. I must have ESP, right?

I'm wondering why this story barely got any coverage in the state-run media. A six year old boy was shot dead in the passenger seat of his father's car. The father was shot as well, but survived. The two cops were arrested for murder. And our progs have NOTHING to say about it. Telling...

The two cops were arrested for murder.
Unlike, say, the Michael Brown case, where witnesses also said he had his hands up. Why were they arrested in this case?
1. The victims were white.
2. Protests against the murders of Brown, Garner, etc., helped create a climate in which police were more likely to be held accountable for their crimes if sufficiently egregious.

They were arrested because their own body camera footage showed them murdering the boy, and attempting to murder the father. More investigation is going to be needed but so far, it looks like one of the cops had been stalking or harassing the man's girlfriend. He had confronted the cop over it, and told him to knock it off or he was going to get hurt. Then the cop and one of his buddies chase him down and try to kill him, and his boy gets killed in the process.
And BTW, white people aren't big on "protests"; we aren't inclined to get loud, and theatrical, and make a spectacle of ourselves. When we have had enough of some bullshit, we don't stage a "protest", we just run up the black flag and start cutting throats.

Agreed. Sharpton and Obama are racists and, therefore, not concerned that "all lives matter". Although Obama would jump in if he could stand on the body of a six-year old to push his anti-gun agenda.

It appears Marksville, LA has a severe police corruption problem...and a bit of a nepotism problem. The father of one of the murderous city marshalls, Norris Greenhouse jr, is an ADA with 20 years and also head of the DA's major crimes unit.

He would indeed, but he can't this time because the killer is a cop. It doesn't hew to the leftist agenda that the only armed citizens should be police.

James Lafond has an interesting take on things like this...
http://jameslafond.com/article.php?id=3179
From the link;
"As in the previous purge, the police will not respond to any criminal activity outside of the riot zone, unless, whites fight back.
Lookout, if a white fights back effectively, or if more than one or two isolated white men stand their ground and cause the hoodrat hordes to take losses, the hoodrats will call in the police, and they will come.
I will bank on that prediction.
In my opinion, the federal end game here, and the reason why the DOJ has encouraged and supported race riots and declined to investigate the race purges, is because the Feds want the unchecked rampaging of the criminal element of the inner city to force white gun owners to defend themselves, giving the government a chance to step in and disarm the entire population, or at least prosecute landmark “vigilante” cases against citizens. In my neighborhood we had two white men use guns to face down mobs of armed blacks. If one of these men face more aggressive mobs and shoot an innocent, unarmed, bat-wielding, gas-can totting youth, then we will have yet another white on black race crime against the Children of the State, which will be like throwing kerosene on the racial flames—and that device in the corner is not a fire extinguisher but a news camera, designed to feed the flames of civil unrest in order to better serve our masters’ will."

Maybe there are no cries for justice, because in this case, the wheels of justice are already turning:

State Police Superintendent Col. Mike Edmonson, announcing the arrests of two of the four officers involved in the shooting, said Friday that the body camera video "is one of the most disturbing scenes I have seen."

Directly from your own post, Marvin. And this in SHARP contrast to numerous cases where blacks have been killed by police officers, with no one being arrested. Spot the difference? At ALL???

Oh, and this case has received extensive coverage on CNN. Which is PRECISELY like yet another case where you nutty rightwingers claimed there was no coverage in the mainstream media, and were swiftly proved wrong.

You people should be embarrassed, and ashamed of yourselves.

Probably a necessary condition. Certainly not a sufficient one (compare Eric Garner, Tamir Rice).

Personally I think (as a white person) we shouldn't close off tactics to ourselves in advance. 2 of the advantages of protests are that they can make for good propaganda and that they can help build the momentum, mass turnout, and organizational discipline needed for a successful insurrection.

Protests, in order to be effective, have to draw attention.... it needs to be a loud ostentatious display, by people who demand to be heard, and refuse to be ignored. That sort of behavior is everywhere in modern urban black culture. Among white people? Not so much.... It's difficult to get a group of white people to show a sense of racial identity period, (as there has been so much public shaming done of anyone who isn't suitably guilty for being born pale), let alone get them organized enough to stage a "protest" which consists of behavior they have always been taught is unacceptable and just plain trashy. And then to do it on camera, so the video of them acting like loud fools can haunt them for the rest of their lives? HELL no...
Black folks OTOH, are way more likely to engage in this. I've been watching this my whole life; it isn't enough to simply do something, they have a pathological need to "look good" doing it. And if nobody sees it, then it didn't happen. Why do you think so many videos of young ghetto-ass thugs (or prep-school posers trying to act like they're thugs) are posted on sites like Youtube, and Worldstar?
I had a young boxer I was training for a smoker one year (I was the unit boxing and Combatives coach; I wasn't allowed to compete as I had a pro record), and while technically he was quite good, he was much more concerned with "looking good" than in actually winning the match. His "LOOK-AT-ME!!!, LOOK-AT-ME!!!" posing bullshit interfered with everything; he wouldn't listen to any of our instructions to quit dancing and trying to pick his opponent apart (which he wasn't actually good enough to do, even if it hadn't been such a short 3 round match anyway) and while he was posing, and telling everybody how good he was, his opponent (white guy, btw) just went to work, and beat out a win on his poser ass. Myself and my assistant coach, a Mexican guy from Texas with about 150 too many Golden Gloves bouts under his belt to compete, were just disgusted.... we had been telling him for weeks, and even trying to beat it out him in the sparring ring, but he just couldn't help himself. Even a couple beatings by my assistant coach and myself couldn't overcome that bullshit.

It couldn't have anything to do with an objective need for publicity for the success of a movement compared with which white people have no similar life-or-death movements. No, it must be that all Black people are pathologically narcissistic in the same way your friend was.

IOW, "the ends justify the means". Is this correct?

It's a dialectical relationship. The ends we consciously or unconsciously seek determine the means we employ, and the use of certain means invariably produces certain ends.
Karma? Yes, actions produce consequences. That works both ways. It's why President Obama's and AG Holder's actions such as in the Philly voting incident, in the Zimmerman case and Ferguson are seen as racist since they are not applied to all similar situations. Just the ones with black people. Doesn't that fit the definition of racism? "prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior."

In the context of the Black Lives Matter movement, it is an understatement to say that vigorous protest is a morally permissible response to state-organized genocide.
WTF? Are you accusing President Obama of state-organized genocide?

the cops targeted this guy from sort of pre-existing dispute. the investigation is under way. he was evidently involved in some shady dealings with these "sherfiffs' and the cops were afraid he was about to turn them in.
