1. Review the news. When was the last violent demonstration?
2. Look into riots over the history of the country. There have been far worse. There were anti-draft riots during the civil war in which people were killed and African Americans hung from lamp poles. The city of Tulsa had a riot in 1921 that killed 39 people..mostly black. More than 35 blocks of the city were burned to the ground. The rioters were entirely white citizens....The LA riots after the Rodney King verdict were worse than anything we've seen in the last 20 years.

One weekend when there had been demonstrations due to a police shooting of a man in his car who told the police officer he had a concealed carry permit....My restaurant gave free meals to police officers to offer some support to them. What did you do?
