News media struggling to keep up, calls chaos because they are tired and lost the election

The news media is exhausted. Trump does 1 or 2 of his campaign promises or less per day and the media who is so pissed they lost and were wrong about the election can't keep up with the changes so they call "chaos" and bad messaging by the White House.

When you step back and look almost nothing new has been done but the media who has been sadly belittled by our president who should never do that, is so tired that they call it chaos just because they can't keep up.

Whether you agree with what he is doing or not, you have to say he is treating it like a business and trying to get things done.

Lets be honest his press conferences are pathetic, unpresidential and a lot of fluff. But he is right that CNN spends their whole day absolutely hating on him and if the Russian story is not true then they did spend a week now on fake news. CNN only had 1 out of 7 pundits after the news conference from the "right". Trump is hard to follow and understand when he speaks. You need at least half the panel to be from the right just to interpret what Trump said. So without that viewpoint CNN just sits there and speculates on what they think Trump said and speculate based on a far left bend. It is very entertaining.

So to summarize:
- Trump is terrible at press conferences, you have to interpret what he is trying to say, but kudos to him for taking all those questions and hammering CNN for their 100% 24/7 negativity.

- Trump haters will never ever like Trumps style which is smug business rich guy with poor speaking skills. Middle America probably won't get used to it either. Only Trump supporters like the style. Obama used to hate on Fox news regularly (of course Obama did it with class).

But the media calling the white house chaos because they have to work overtime to keep up with what a politician should do which is work on behalf of the people is just pathetic.

I agree. The fact they do not like Trump is not an excuse for the press to toss out all objectivity towards him. Love him or hate him, he won.

What the Press is doing is setting a dangerous precedent.

Immediately after the hour long press conference fox hammered away listing all the things he covered and said. Which his delivery is horrible and hard to follow. But CNN just kind of had a deflated sigh about the hosts and they went over all of the contradictions they could find and talk about chaos and different messages coming from different people at the white house then talking about Trumps lies. Trump is a typical business man, he picks out the largest number anyone throws at him and uses it. That isn't the right thing to do but he basically exaggerates EVERYTHING just like most businessmen I've encountered. So to Trump and his followers they are lies but exaggerations. To Trump haters like CNN they are bold faced lies. Eventhough the subject matter like crowd size or who won more electoral votes are inconsequential. And Trumps actual quote was "I heard I had the biggest win". He is an egomaniac and some will never ever get used to him. So CNN will continue to occupy themselves with fact checking things like crowd sizes while actual news may or may not get covered by other channels.

The afternoon press briefings and the followup fake news speculation by CNN or CNN being blinded by Trump and talking about trivial things all day is entertaining and makes the day go by faster.

Its like "we are not sure what Trump said so we are going to twist it to make him look as bad as we possibly can". Next hour rinse and repeat...

I just checked out CNN to see their coverage of the press conference and they still don't get it! Who did they have on the show to respond to Trump's press conference? Maxine Waters, possibly the dumbest human being ever elected to political office. Predictably, she humiliated herself and the hosts of the show within minutes of appearing on camera. Maybe she's the only one willing to do the show, but I have to imagine someone at least marginally more intelligent was available for a five minute segment.

We're seeing a death spiral as this news network goes down the drain.

Bottom line:
Trump is Trump.
Trump gets to be himself because, guess what, Trump won.
The media hates it and can't get over his win.
Because of media hatred, it lies and nitpicks.
The media is the media and I hope it gets up to speed and starts acting like adults in the room instead of the petulant children it is currently behaving like.

this isn't going to peak until the academy awards, though.

that will be Hollywood's big chance to tell the flyover state residents that they are ignorant losers who don't matter.

and like the grammy's, it will probably produce a record low Nielsen rating.

That is exactly what CNN does. So does MSNBC.
We knew MSNBC did it for the left and some fox shows for the right, but CNN was more moderate until the election then they went hard left.

The day they came out with the fake news dossier they sent all right leaning pundits home and went straight left to do damage control.

They started two segments this afternoon saying something like "it doesn't matter what Trump says we are real news". Keep telling yourself that.

Their shows get further and further left which is where their fringe viewers want them to go, problem is you can't win elections with that thinking, but who knows.

You would think a candidate would come along that appeals to all normal people. Leave the fringes out, just appeal to real america.

It might not matter what Trump says, but it does matter what people say.
CNN used to be my go to place other than Fox. No more. I consider CNN to be equal to MSNBC and that equals Junk News, Tabloid News, Fake News.

CNN made its bed.
Too late to fix it.

He needs to quit defending every criticism directed toward him as he devours/reads all the news media that's written about him.
He needs those opposing him/ become enemies to make himself look good.

If he would tell the truth he wouldn't have so much trouble defending any earlier comments, he 'misspoke' about.
'Alternative facts' won't work.

Oh and this quote from your post.
Trump is a populist.
Lefties have bought into the Democrat talking points and haven't even bothered to listen to Trump. There are some "never Trump" Republicans who have done the same. Those people don't matter because they are not thinking.

Trump appeals to normal people. Real people. Real Americans. All others don't matter.

He absolutely won't change as crazy as that sounds. He will not become more presidential, he will always pick out the biggest number even if it isn't true to describe himself, and he will always be obsessed with the news and what people are saying about him. None of that will change. He is complete opposite of Bush who claimed he never watched tv or listened to radio. And opposite of Obama who was polished and presidential and a good person.

This is who Trump is and he didn't grow up through the politically correctness or had to be a polished politician. I know businessmen just like Trump. They pick out the biggest number in any conversation and brag about it. Then the locker room talk and the women etc. It isn't going to change. The only thing we can do is actually critique the actual policy because the bs coming out of his mouth will never be respected because of the delivery.

Evidently, you don't go along with Trump's vision on unifying America....
There is no vision to unify. He has a couple lines per speech about bringing everyone together then he falls back into the campaign and the states and people that helped him win.

The only thing he might do across party lines is help the inner cities and infrastructure. But those are yuuuge projects so he may get in there and find out its almost unfixable in the time he has.

Trump wants to unify America. I want to unify America...............some people don't want a unified America and I am not interested in forcing anyone. It's obvious that Democrats do NOT want America unified.

Putting America first should unify every AMERICAN if you don't think that should maybe you should rethink your values.

I have been watching MSNBC and CNN since Trump was elected. I have yet to hear anything about him that wasn't denigrating or negative speculation. I don't call that "news", I call it political bashing. THAT is why their product is being called "fake news" and why Americans don't trust the media.
