He did indeed. From a USA Today story published at 1:44 PM will confirm;

"The FBI and the Justice Department have no information to support" President Trump's claims that the Obama administration had tapped Trump's offices during the campaign, Comey said.

The problem is the REST of your loony-lib by fantasy about Russia and Trump "stealing" the election from poor wittle 'ol billary when it was her turn, damnit.

"It won't be long before he hangs his in shame as he gets trotted out of the White House in handcuffs. Impeachment will surely follow."

See, that very same USA Today story published at 1:44 PM ALSO stated;

"Comey and Rogers both said they were not aware of any evidence that any votes in the election were changed because of interference from Russia."

So which time are we to take these clowns at the word and which time should we write it off as they merely "misspoke"?

Basically you on the left are doing just like you are howling about Trump doing....Just CLAIM a wrong has been committed and go with it for as long as you can without ever actually proving it to be so.

So you think because Comey and Rogers have not attempted to ascertain if anyone changed their votes because of the Russian hacking or the Wikileaks email drama...you think no wrong has been committed?

You're wrong. The crime was in hacking the DNC email server. The harm was in that we certainly should expect more attempts by our enemies in the future. It is certainly not a matter of no harm, no foul.

Maybe not. He might be as full of shit as a Christmas turkey. But his 'tapp' tweet won't get him kicked out of the office.

As to the 'collusion' charge, they'll need to be the same proof that the left is asking for vis a vis the wiretap. I don't believe there is any. In the case of both...we shall see.

The hacks didn't keep Hillary out of Michigan and Wisconsin in favor of Texas and Georgia. It was there that she, as a really bad campaigner, lost her election.

I mean, really, if you can't even beat Trump? Pathetic.

I agree, Biden would have been president. But that isn't the point. Did anyone change their minds based on the non-stop headlines proclaiming that Wikileaks had some new smoking gun (meanwhile producing nothing at all).....

I doubt it. At least nothing a few visits by Hillary couldn't have cleared up. The Russians didn't win, no matter how much you want to believe that, Hillary LOST. Of her own accord, through her own hubris and incompetence.

We'll see if Trump eliminated the sanctions on the Russians....if he does, Putin won.

Actually what Comey stated:

I have been authorized by the Department of Justice to confirm that the FBI, as part of our counterintelligence mission, is investigating the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election and that includes investigating the nature of any links between individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the Russian government and whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia's efforts. As with any counterintelligence investigation, this will also include an assessment of whether any crimes were committed.

They are investigating whether or not there was cordination not as you claim "investigating collusion" those are two very different things............

No, because I went and read the emails. There was nothing there. The headlines breathlessly exclaimed "Smoking Gun"...couldn't find anything in the emails worth
fretting about.

But then, I had already decided I wasn't voting for either Hillary or Trump, for other reasons.
