Trump was not proved correct about the wiretapping. As you should recall, Trump publicly claimed he'd learned Obama wire tapped him at Trump Tower. That was a willful lie. He had not, in fact, learned that. In order to try to rehabilitate his lie, the usual Trump apologists have spent many months trying to turn up any surveillance that might have incidentally touched on Trump... they figure that right-wing drones are stupid enough that if they find something even in the ballpark of Trump's claim, the dummies won't realize that it doesn't vindicate what Trump said. Obviously, a warrant to conduct surveillance on Paul Manafort, due to his crooked Russian business ties, starting back in 2015, does not constitute Obama having Trump wire tapped, whether or not Trump may have incidentally been overheard as a result of his conversations with Manafort.

If it helps, consider it in a different context. Let's say I get on the phone with my cousin, who is a drug dealer. I don't realize it, but the FBI is listening in on my cousin's calls, because of that drug business. Would it then be accurate for me to say "I learned that Trump had my wires tapped at my home"? Of course not. That would be a lie.

What is really striking is the ramp up in unmasking that took place at a breakneck speed right as the transition to the White House was coming. Over 220 unmaskings of people in those final weeks during what was obviously a political witch-hunt. Obama bought the banana in the Democrats desperation to make USA a banana republic.

Not too sure about that. Don't know that any military history is taught anymore.

When teaching about the Civil War, it would be impossible to teach without explaining how the various generals helped or hindered the result. I learned so much about the Civil War and it's battles and generals in the 5th grade, and then much more through junior high and high school. Didn't study history in college.

I don't know what is taught today, but I know it can't possibly compare. I think today's attitude/actions show that the younger generation didn't learn much. Sad that...

Absolutely correct. Manafort was tapped,not Trump. It's that simple.

I don't want to rain on your semantics, but isn't that the same thing? Either way, they spied on Trump via a wire tap; so yes, they wire tapped Trump tower... via Manafort.
