Oh my! Did I just walk into a KKK rally? I should have known by the burning cross outside, huh? LOL!
LOL!
shades of the "southern strategy theory" nonsense, huh?

the democrats have ALWAYS been the party of racism, discrimination, sexism etc. since before the civil war up to and including today...

One of my favorite Democrats, LBJ, once said this: "If you can convince the lowest White man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you".
LBJ was a smart man. He knew what he was talking about. And his words are just as true today as they were 60 years ago. They ring true no matter who is in power, Republican or Democrat. So, don't try to be smug if you call yourself a Republican.
My friend, Maxine Waters, knows about the racial politics of America all too well.

do you know another famous quote by lbj?

"i'll have those "negroes" voting democrat for the next 200 years...although truth be told, he didn't say negro, he used the racist slang for that.

lbj was an open racist but he knew how to manipulate a voting block..he bribed them...
Oh no, I'd never heard that!! My stars! LOL!
Trump is an open racist too.

1) The Central Park Five
2) Lawsuit against Fred and Donald Trump for refusing to rent to Blacks
3) Harrassing Obama about
his birth certificate---thinly veiled racism
4) Calling Black NFL players "sons of bitches" for engaging in a peaceful protest
5) Starting out his Presidential campaign by talking ugly about Mexican people.

Remember any of these?

here's the history of the democratic party in under 12 min. all claims made in the video are easily verified and well known factual history...dont shoot the messenger if you don't believe the claims, just look them up for yourself. that's how claims can be either verified or refuted..if one has no desire to seek the truth, then they are destined to be easy marks for the propagandists..

The only thing a black person has to do to become a successful politician in this country is make white people hate him/her. It often boggles the mind that the sorriest, most vile, pieces of shit imaginable can get elected in black constituencies, and keep getting elected as long as they continue to draw the ire of the white community.
From Adam Clayton Powell, who bought half of Jamaica with money he stole from the American taxpayer, to Charlie, Rangel, Al Sharpton (who probably owes more in taxes than Obama added to the debt, by now to Maxine Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee (agreeably the dumbest human being to ever take in oxygen) and that cowboy hat wearing alien (can't remember her name), the people who support these liars and thieves happily allow them to live like Kennedys on their dime just because whitey tries to point out that they are crooks. But Homey don't care. Homey don't play dat because don't wanna be woke.

In the old south, it was said of a negro who had the audacity to believe that the constitution actually applied to him too.
ahhh, so the democrats started that..they started a lot of things here, slavery, civil war, jim crow, kkk, institutionalized racism/sexism/discrimination via affirmative action, cries for the return of segregation via blm, and cries for another civil war via antifa..

guess old habits are hard to break..:(
My point was, and I lived through this, that any black person who wanted to be, and insisted on being treated with dignity, was getting uppity. The simple act of walking into a Woolworth lunch counter, sitting down, and ordering a meal was denied to them, is something unimaginable today.
I have seen white men, some of the sorriest human garbage to ever exit a womb, say I'll be damned if I'll ever sit down and eat next to a ni**er.
Both sides of my family, growing up, had two distinct characteristics. They were racists and they were Democrats. I worked in cafes and restaurants, in the summer between school years. Every place i worked had a table set up in the kitchen for blacks to eat. They paid the same as any white person but could not go into the main part of the restaurant. If they wanted a to go order that had to go around to the kitchen door. It was demeaning, of course, but I think it was demeaning to whites as well.
The Democrats of today would have us believe it is still like that, it is not. You had to live through it to know how bad it was.
My mother, once in a discussion with members of her family, in which they were bemoaning the passage of a time when colored people knew their place, asked them straight up. Why did you think we were any better than they were. We were dirt poor, worked our asses off for a living, never had more than the neighbor next door. What made us better than colored people?
The only answer I ever heard anyone ever give to that question was: we were white and they were ni**ers.

Thank you for sharing that story. That conversation between your Mom and her family was very revealing. One of them said, "The only answer I ever heard anyone give to that question was :'We were White and they were n****s"
That is what LBJ was saying. That is the White privilege we hear so much about. It is something I've known since I was a child. But, it is gratifying to hear a White person say it. Most Whites won't admit to it.

I think you misunderstood what I wrote. *I* was the one who said the only answer I ever heard anyone give to the question (why did whites think they were better than black people was basically a non-answer. Their only answer was that they were white and
blacks were ni**ers, which is not really an answer. They had no answer, no reason, and there was no admission of guilt or anything on their part, just prejudice, ignorance, and hatred.

I saved that video for future reference. I've been contending the same thing for years but didn't know how to explain it intelligently. I do know that things began to change in the south, regarding segregation when the Christian churches started actually practicing what they were preaching.
Here's an incident: When I got out of the navy, I worked on airplanes at a commercial airline at New Orleans airport. I had a part time job at a fast-food restaurant. This was in 1965, right after the civil rights act of 1965. I was waiting on customers at one of the windows when a black guy walked up to the window. I got his order for him, took his money, and told him what I told every customer I waited on...Thank you, sir. The manager of the place, not the owner, came over to me, called me into the back, and told me, Jack, I don't know if you can whip my ass or not but the next time I hear you say sir to a ni**er, you're gonna have to.
I said, the man was a customer; I treat all customers the same. He repeated his previous line. I never did find out if I could whip his ass or not and I didn't want to find out, so I just walked out.

i too grew up in a time where racism was observed, [not common, but there nonetheless] i never understood the concept of it as it made no sense to me. i judged people by their actions, nothing more. and its INDIVIDUALS actions i was concerned with, not group.

blacks were the same as everyone else..most good, some bad. i had more bad experiences with whites than blacks but that's to be expected as the population numbers show.
if i lived in a predominantly black area i would expect the same in reverse.
obobo race pimped this country into a new era of racial conflict. fact..
now, as more blacks realize his broken promises were just pandering, they ask themselves, "what did obobo do to help the black community?"

they have no answer.

He did nothing to help the black community. He did more to engender hatred and distrust between the races than anything else he did. And it's a damned shame too because, given his popularity and charisma, if the stupid bastard had been a decent man instead of the piece of shit he is, he could have been a great president and made life better for all Americans. He could have closed the racial divide and healed the wounds of prejudice and discrimination. But he took the low road and opted for race baiting and identity politics.
Obama will go down in history as a great missed opportunity. A great failure.

when was first mentioned as a candidate, i had no idea who he was, so i listened to him talk, and thought "hey, this guy sounds pretty good, articulate, intelligent, young jr. senator who just might be the "no more of the same" hopeful i was looking for.
so i did my due diligence and started researching him.

it was like peeling an onion,,the more i looked the worse it got..from a lackluster political career [he was absent more than present] to his questionable affiliation with "acorn" and its business shakedown methods, to his affiliations with communist, racist 60s radical member of the domestic terror group "the weathermen" bill ayers, to his mentor and friend louis farrakhan racist leader of the nation of islam and black nationalist, his controversial pastor of a hate spewing church he attended for 20 years, i found nothing that i could admire nor support but thought surely a man with this history would never be considered as a legitimate candidate...his background would have been revealed and he would have quickly been dismissed..

but it didn't matter, none of it mattered, the ONLY thing that mattered was his skin color.
not even after his first mediocre term did anything matter, just his race.
he set black politicians back 50 years...got the left calling successful black politicians, surgeons, educators "uncle toms" if they dared disagree on his mandates,

he turned out to be just another race pimping bagman from chicago.
