Try some chittlins and cornbread! That's some good eating.i wonder if i'll have baked ziti or pizza for dinner tonight..
I hope I didn't sound like a braggart here. There are a some people on this board who are smarter than me. One of them is @EatTheRich. I learn a lot from reading his posts.I must not have you on ignore, or I wouldn't have said "Adios". I have never admitted defeat to anyone on this board, certainly not to you. Perhaps if I was debating someone who was smarter than I was, I'd admit defeat.

You don't know what you're missing. Your Grandmother sounds like my kinda lady.cornbread is a staple,,,never found my taste for chitlins, although my grandmother loved them with black eyed peas and collard greens...
like i said, i never developed a taste for chitlins...that doesn't mean i never tried them,,quite the contrary. You don't know what you're missing. Your Grandmother sounds like my kinda lady.
I love chittlins. But I only cook them on special occasions because they are hard to clean.like i said, i never developed a taste for chitlins...that doesn't mean i never tried them,,quite the contrary.
i just didn't like them..
she was a remarkable woman. the much admired matriarch of our family.
7 bean and ham hock soup, fried chicken and fried potatoes, canning, growing all our vegetables, and fruit trees of every imaginable variety was just how things were done. and who didn't have a container of bacon grease/lard on the stove for seasoning spinach, and all greens, etc.I love chittlins. But I only cook them on special occasions because they are hard to clean.
That is hilarious.I hope I didn't sound like a braggart here. There are a some people on this board who are smarter than me. One of them is @EatTheRich. I learn a lot from reading his posts.
I think Joe Biden and Elisabeth Warren will run for president. I hear another good candidate speaking and he will run for president. he is Sherrod BrownOn the chance that Trump decides not to run (or can't run) in 2020, who would be a good candidate for the Republican ticket?
1) Mike Pence
2) Chris Christie
3) Marco Rubio
4) John Kasich
Or somebody else? Who would you choose? Just curious.
More reasons he might not run again:Several reasons why Trump may not seek a second term:
1) The wall is not going to be built. That disappoints his base.
2) ObamaCare wasn't repealed and replaced. Another disappointment.
3) It looks like he is doing everything he can to wreck the US economy. Did he really think trade tariffs against the Chinese were going to work?
4) He is just not fit for the job. I'm sure he knows that by now.
So, I believe he will be a one term President.
ProjectionTheir angst is palpable. It shows in every single post they writeeven when they pretend to be calm. Too bad.
I wouldn't be so sure about Nikki Haley becoming the first woman President.More reasons he might not run again:
1. He is working for free and donating his salary
2. Both Democrats and Republicans are out to get him
3. The Deep State is powerful
Kind of funny though, that the Democrats have a gazillion flawed and weak candidates with girl groping, gaffing, gargoyle Joe Biden as their "most qualified" candidate, and the "Still My Turn" drunken and feeble Hillary as the candidate who can't ever be denied.......as their top two runners. And their platform is "I hate Trump".
If Trump decides not to run, Nikki Haley will run and win as the first woman president.
Democrats will do better if they wait until 2024 when Hillary will have croaked and Biden will be obviously senile and some of the younger candidates can have a chance. I predict that at that time, dear little vapid-headed Ocasio-Cortez will have a huge shot at the prize.
"So sure"?I wouldn't be so sure about Nikki Haley becoming the first woman President.
Next time Trump is behind in the polls, his supporters will not turn out en masse to vote - they will instead, scoff at the inaccurate polls.Trump wins again in a landslide....
The left continues it’s death spiral...
SB
Trump ain't going to win if he runs - he is enormously unpopular, horrible at debate and congress is getting fed up with him. I don't think he runs, if he does, he will run as an independent and take votes from the Republican candidate. Dems win in a landslide."So sure"?
What I am sure of is that Trump will run for a second term and win it.
