Growing evidence that "Russian collusion" was a set up...

Raoul_Luke

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Papadoupolis was the dupe in a classic "sting" operation. It turns out the guy who gave him the "Russian collusion" goods, Professor Joseph Mifsud, has ostensible ties to British intelligence that would seem to discount the theory that he was working for Russia when he told Papadoupolis that the Russians had "dirt" on Hillary and they wanted to use it to help Trump win:

Yeah, I know, it's Zerohedge, but facts are facts. So what we have here is a likely Brit intel asset telling Papadoupolis that "the Russians wanted to help Trump" which he then drunkenly spills weeks later to an Aussie with strong ties to the Clinton Foundation. That is a classic set-up with the patsy in the middle.

Where are the, you know, actual Russians in any of that???

And it's coincidental that 3 high-level members of the Trump campaign including the campaign chair actually did go to a meeting with the described purpose of getting assistance from the Russian government?

You mean the one set up by this guy?

Who set up a meeting with these people representing the "Russian government?"

In Trumplandia, the Team Trump/Kremlin meeting in Trump Tower for the express purpose of collusion was not collusion.

;-)

What is was…was entrapment. Stupid, a rookie mistake, but not the least bit criminal.

As for it being about "collusion"…it wasn't. It ended up a discussion about the Magnitsky Act. It was a classic bait and switch set up...

Please. Outside of Trumplandia your collusion-was-not-collusion hooey is laughable. Save it for your winger pals.

I see you won't even entertain the accounts that these "Russians" met both before AND after this meeting, with people from the very firm that Hillary (and the DNC, and the FBI) paid to create the phony "dossier." Typical!

Again, your lunacy is wasted on sane people. Collusion is collusion.

Of course it was a set up.

Again, YOUR dodge is noticed. Collusion takes two - and unless you are suggesting the Trump team was "colluding" with Hillary's campaign, then this wasn't, in fact, "collusion" at all...

Rob Goldstone, apparently. Who chose to go to the meeting?
Of course, but who was he doing it for? The meeting turned out to have absolutely zero to do with "Clinton dirt" as he had advertised it. So he set it up on false pretenses - that much isn't even in contention - because if it had been about what it was advertised to be, someone would be in jail right now. It was either about the Magnitsky Act from the get go and they thought it was the best way to get team Trump to support their position on it (by lying to them - I agree, that sounds absurd) or it was for some other purpose, such as putting team Trump in a room with Russians for the avowed purpose that they'd get dirt on Hillary. The fact that the "Russians" who attended the meeting have obvious ties to the firm that produced the "dossier:"

http://www.knssradio.com/articles/russian-lawyer-met-fusion-gps-after-trump-jr-meeting

If Goldstone had been some random American, or an Eritrean, or, gasp, a Russian, then it wound't look so fishy. But he's a Brit, and you have to ask yourself - is he also an intel asset (like Mifsud appears to be)? I don't think you'll have to dig too deep to find that he is.

I understand that you guys have to go to great lengths to avoid that part of this story, but I enjoy beating you over the head with it so avoid away...

Who needs Russia to create division in America when you had obama and U.S. mainstream media for 8 years and U.S. mainstream media continues the course for a division in America.
