Scenes we'd like to see, the Gaza Strip

Instead of running its mouth why doesn't the UN pass a resolution authorizing goods and resources into Gaza. Surely the peace-loving Hamas leadership will do the right thing and take care of their people..

Why not?

Hamas is largely responsible for the miserable conditions these poor people live under, yet no leftist ever blames them. Why not?

Why is that? And what prevents the UN from condemning Hamas and continuing to resolve to provide humanitarian Aid?
The U.N. can condemn Hamas until the cows come home and that will change nothing on the ground.

If Israel “allows” more relief to get through its blockade, more relief could be sent. But read the linked piece - Israel limits what can be provided - even the amount of food - for its own strategic reasons.

Those are not solutions. The only solution is hope - giving extremely desperate people at least a hope that their captivity in Gaza will end, and they can someday be sovereign. They have no such hope now. Netanyahu, aided by Trump, has no interest in changing the status quo. So, the desperation will get worse and worse.

Hamas cares little for the people it claims to advocate for - In fact, they are quite content to send them to their deaths for the sake of propaganda:

ISRAEL AND Hamas have fought three wars in the Gaza Strip over the past decade, and though it may not look like the others, a fourth one is now underway. Having tried and failed to defeat Israel with rockets and armed cross-border attacks, Hamas this spring deployed a new strategy: assembling thousands of nominal civilians to march on and attempt to breach the border fence, in the calculation that many would be killed. The result would be a moral and political defeat for Israel — and perhaps some relief for a regime that is literally besieged from all sides.

For Hamas, the more dead bodies, the better.

Pure desperation. Those ordinary citizens are not compelled by Hamas to do what they do. They do it because their retched existence leaves them so desperate that they will march to the border knowing they will be shot. We comfy Americans can only imagine such desperation. Hating on Hamas does not change that.

Bullshit.

Hamas has no interest. Want to change the status quo...stop the one sided blame game.. Israel blockades..why? Egypt blockades, why?

Hamas has no interest in actually helping the people there. For example, they fire rockets into Israel. Israel military determines what building the Rockets are being fired from, Israel military then contacts the people in the area telling them to get out.....Hamas does not let them leave. Building destroyed in counter strike and civilians are killed.....cannon fodder.

You can bet the [Unwelcome language removed] who fired the rockets are long gone by the time they get hit back.

So much easier when you prove you have no idea what you are talking about.

Netanyahu could call off his snipers instead of shooting the protestors, children and young men.

The protesters could point out the Hamas among them and the snipers could do their thing more efficiently
Murdering the protestors only confirms Netanyahu and Israelis have no regard for life....which is interesting since their own kin were murdered by another oppressor.
