but this won't slow the American idiots down one bit.

Australian police discovered the bodies of seven mass shooting victims on May 11, and on May 31, a machine gun attack in London left a man in this twenties fighting for his life. These shootings are occurring in nations the left has long held up as having the kinds of gun control America should implement.

How many more would they have had without the laws they have?

In Colorado we are have universal background checks. Each year we are arresting a few hundred people with outstanding felony warrants as they attempt to buy a gun from a private seller. How many of those guns, if sold to the fugitive from justice, would have resulted in a crime?

Your points?
They confiscated guns and we have background checks for all legal gun dealersdealers, FFL and DROS point being crap is still happening. People are still going over the edge and committing crimes, everyone seems to develop 20/20 hindsight and "everyone knew they were a problem" and so on. I don't claim to have all the answers but a good start would be enforcing the laws we have and tune up the systems in place.

A universal background check IS a tuneup. Why does it make sense to anyone that we will require a background check if you buy it at the store, but not if you find someone on the web advertising a gun and buy it without a BC?

When the government does it's job it works
Don't push for more of something when the government fails doing it part.
If you buy a gun online you have to provide an FFL for your firearm to be shipped to.

Here's one of the biggest online gun sales link
I won! Now what?
↑ Back to List

If you win an auction, we send you an email at the end of the auction that contains the seller’s user name and email address along with your winning bid amount. If you think you won an auction and did not get your notification, check the ‘Items I Won’ section of My GunBroker. If you have won an auction and did not get your notification, please request help by navigating to our Help Center.

From the time the auction closes you have a maximum of five (5) days to contact the seller at the email address located in the notification we sent you. The seller must contact you as well within the same five days.

The seller will send you instructions on making payment and will request your address for shipping. Typically you will be required to prepay using a money order, although some sellers will take credit cards, personal checks, COD, etc. Make sure that you follow the seller’s payment instructions carefully. We suggest that if possible you use a US Post Office money order and send payment by US Mail. The US Post Office may be able to help you in case of problems with the seller.

When sending payment, always include your name, address, phone number, the item number of the auction you won, the name of our site (GunBroker.com), and your email address. Many problems are the result of the buyer sending a check with no other information!

If your item is a firearm, you will need to get a copy of your transfer dealer’s FFL license, signed by the dealer in blue or red ink, and enclose that with payment. You may need to send proof of age for other purchases; again please follow the seller’s instructions carefully.

See also: Winning an Auction.

Details about all of the items you have won will display in My GunBroker. Using My GunBroker, you will be able to manage your post-sale activities, such as viewing Seller Contact Info and leaving feedback.

The libber parasite is smart enough to know that in order to infect and ultimately kill its host that it must do so in small increments, sometimes so small that they will go un-noticed. This is the play book for the left and it is no secret that they seek to disarm US and get rid of the rest of our rights as well. We cannot concede even one more inch to the disease.

they also know it will be law abiding Americans that they can destroy and their agenda

only recourse law abiding Americans have is move from the blue state sewers

We need to make it easier to buy a gun not harder. We also need to get out of the business of buying food and paying the rent of the freeloaders. WE can use part of the money we save by doing that to fund gun safety classes for any and all who want to take them

You guys and your bullshit..... (SMH)
You criminalize common, everyday behavior and claim that arresting people for it lowers crime.
Can you show that any of those arrests lowered violent crime in the state? Crimes such as robbery, homicide, rape, etc.?
https://www.denverpost.com/2017/07/11/colorado-sees-big-increase-crime-10-percent-higher-murder-rate/
From the link;
"Crime in Colorado 2007-2016
Though crime rates declined or remained static in most of the 30 largest U.S. cities last year, the rate of violent crime per 100,000 people spiked 3.4 percent in Colorado, driven by increases in homicides, rapes and violent assaults. Chart line is rate per 100,000 people, bar is percent change in rate from previous year.

Source: Colorado Bureau of Investigation

One of the elements of the state report that was especially troubling to legal authorities was the rise in the number of violent crimes.

The number of rapes increased 7.2 percent — from 3,275 in 2015 to 3,512 in 2016 — the CBI report says. The increase of rapes per 100,000 residents was 5 percent.

Robberies in Colorado increased 5.9 percent to 3,518, and the number of aggravated assaults jumped 8.3 percent to 10,682, according to the CBI report.

The number of homicides across the state was the highest since 2004, according to records. It also represents a 47 percent increase over the 129 homicides in 2010.

There were 57 murders in Denver in 2016, according to the report. That represented 30 percent of all murders in Colorado."

I guess not, huh?

Bullshit. It's just more restriction of our freedom for no benefit.
Do away with them all.
go for it...of course, you know better than everyone else. Should be easy to get the votes. Just threaten to kill those who vote against. I'm sure your version of democracy will prevail.

You're a funny guy. How would UBCs change numbers for rapes? How many crimes were committed with guns? Your numbers are meaningless.

I don't know any state that you can simply buy a gun on line with no check aka FFL dealer involved shipping also all shippers, ups, fedex, usps have very stringent regs re firearm shipping. Some states have no laws about private party sales or gifting. In spite of what is thought about gun shows they are not a free for all, most states require ffl/dros for sales. The only thing the knee jerk emotional reactions re gun control can't controll is black market street sales, thefts and stupidity, ie not securing ones firearms... All the laws in the world cannot fix stupidity in spite of what they think in liberal land. Nor will legal confiscation.

Accuracy isn't your strength. So if I see an add in the local "Advertiser" and it turns out the seller lives close by...I can buy his gun in most states with no background check...

Dylan Klebold knew a guy and bought guns from him. They'd worked at the same Pizza place. The rest of the Columbine sales were done at the Tanner Gun show....no background check.

You refer to guns sales on the internet where shipping across state lines is involved....

It's a little early to start with that lie, isn't it?

Didn't you learn anything from the last time?

Beware the gun banner who talks about compromise. What he's really advocating is death by a thousand cuts instead of just one.

You want compromise? Let's lift Class III restrictions. Let's compromise in that direction.
