"Best", the word in the topic line, can be applied subjectively.

BUT !!

It can also be applied objectively. Quantifiably.
Merely select the criteria.

- Number of U.S. troops killed during his tenure (the lower the better).

- Number of private sector jobs added during his tenure.

- Stature among the community of nations as manifest at the U.N., and with our allies and trading partners abroad.

- Many etc.

By these quantifiable criteria, Obama looks quite good.
Let's consider the corpse count under the Bush (younger) administration. Those that died because Bush lied U.S. into War.



They died for nothing.
The most bitter irony:
During the 8 years of the Bush (younger) administration, UBL was #1 on the FBI's 10 most wanted list, because UBL killed about 3,000 innocent Americans during that 8 years.
BUT !!
During that same 8 year period, President Bush (younger) killed substantially more. Almost 1,500 more, as the above graphic reveals.
But Obama had more than just superior military skills.

By quantifiable criteria, Obama was quite good. Better than the guy he succeeded.
Too soon to know how Trump will match up.

Trump is the best president since Washington. Obama is the worst president in our history. Your poll is a joke. It was probably taken at CNN.

I'll remember Obama as an inspiring character going in and a divisive character going out. He reminds us forever just how easy it is to turn Unity to division and Derision.

oh and he blew up the whole Healthcare thing such that so many now are taking it in the Wallet with premium payments and deductibles

Trump's messing with the PPACA --> increased premiums.
Next up: Trump/Republicans plan to end protections for preexisting conditions.

I guess my age shows here but Ike was the best of the last 4 score years. Saint Ray Goon was THE worst as he was totally incompetent just like rumputin is, only not quite as bold. Obama did well considering the opposition he faced with congressional repugnants.
