Why all the vitriol directed at Louie Gohmert...

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.

Yeah, he went there. Why not? Someone needed to say it. Why should we accept this lying weasel Strzok's claims that he isn't lying when he says he never acted on his bias.

The left is falling all over itself to defend his claim. Aren't these the same wahoos who say any cop who accosts a black man is acting on his personal prejudice? If the lefties don't have hypocrisy, they got nothing...

Strzok has been proven to be vindictive, political, unethical, and unprofessional as well as unfaithful. Bringing up the affair is legitimate in the light of the conspiracy this arm of the FBI was conducting, but the manner and context Gohmert delivered his attack with was tawdry and wildly lacking decorum.
The left gets to ignore the fact their side acted far worse in this inquiry, but they surely have a legitimate beef with the way Gohmert chose to exploit Strzok’s affair.
The rest of Strzok’s affairs will surely doom his character profile, and hopefully derail his career as well.

He only got his five minutes to get it in. I thought it was wholly appropriate.

So according to Gohmert, you can't trust people who cheat on their wives....ok...Trump cheated on three wives. Now what?

And what of Trump's affairs? Does that doom his career? I hope so.

To a President?
No likely not. It hasn’t in he past.
The comments to the FBI agent that his infidelity made him an unreliable witness should be applied to Trump as well...Clearly Trump is a lying sack of shit...do you disagree?

He lies far more than any POTUS needs to and more than any I’ve seen.
That being said, it changes nothing of Strzok’s shocking negligence doing his job and seemingly directing multiple investigations with sheer partisanship as his guide. That along with an obviously diminished and tarnished character and lack of morality should put him out of his FBI career as soon as possible.
He’s every bit a “crooked cop” as any who participate in racial profiling or harassment. Should be gone.

But we do - his character is impugned by his shameless dishonesty in carrying on a long term extra-marital affair. If he would so shamelessly abuse his wife's trust, what has he done to earn ours?
Cheating on his wife is not evidence that his the investigation is biased. His ethos is irrelevant. It's like saying Donald Trump cheated on his wife with a porn star so he colluded with Russians. It's just not a connection in either case.
