Newly elected New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made history on Tuesday, becoming the youngest woman ever to be elected to Congress as she won a seat in the House of Representatives.

But the 29-year-old said this week that the move to Washington, D.C. will have to wait.

Because she cannot afford to live in a town run by liberals. How fitting.

Let us guess she did not know?

In an interview with the New York Times published on Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez called the transition into becoming a lawmaker "very unusual, because I can’t really take a salary. I have three months without a salary before I’m a member of Congress. So, how do I get an apartment? Those little things are very real."

Real and liberal just do not match up well. If you don't believe see what liberals on the P.J. have to say.

She hasn't saved any of the money she was paid at her job prior to becoming a public servant?

Damn.

I wonder how small a salary she has been living on until now.
I wonder what job she was working until now.

(Just playin'. I pretty much know...…….)

she should "just pay for it!".

Seems I've heard her say that's how paying for things works. You just pay for it.

I guess it should not be surprising but I can't imagine any of the people who were [Unwelcome language removed] dumb enough to vote for her have ever really thought about a word she has ever seen. They certainly never seen any of her subsequent interviews since she won the primary.....she is as dumb as a box of rocks and that is me being polite.

If you promise free shit for everyone you can get elected. Her hero Bernie Sanders (the biggest [Unwelcome language removed] in all of American Politics) has made a very nice living do that.

Be very worried about this country.

She was a bar maid. Now she gets people drunk on Socialism.

If she can't get the money to move to DC, how did she get 3505.00

She's going to take a salary? Is she splitting it evenly with everyone who works with her?
