Wisconsin republicans vote to strip power from Democrats

President
Why can't Walker and his jackboots heed the people's vote?

Because they're fascist.

Here's how Wisconsin Republicans want to strip power from incoming Democrats

"Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is on his way out, defeated in November by Democratic Gov.-elect Tony Evers. But with an assist from his GOP allies in the state legislature, Walker appear poised to sign off on a suite of measures designed to strip power from his successor."
Reminds me of the “Remain” folks in Britain wanting to invalidate the people’s Brexit vote because they disagree with it.

What the republicans in Wisconsin are doing is quite a bit different. The republican fascists want to leave the state Democrats without power.

What? Republicans held a late night vote, after finding out they lost both the governship and AG. The knew that they will have substantial reduced power come next year.

Why did they do what they did?

Because they're right wing fascists.

The people voted in the legislature as well. Civics 101, you should look into it.

And why shouldn't Evers reverse the policy, given that that's what the people voted for?
If that is what they voted for, then they should have not voted in the same assembly. Evers squeaked through a victory and only because the national democrats deluged the airwaves with lies about Walker's record on pre-existing conditions.

They're doing it because the right wing that lost power is fascist.

You, me, and anyone with common sense know it.
The right didn't lose power, they lost the governorship. They retain the assembly. It's kind of like how democrats won't relent even though they lost the presidency and the Senate.

That is what Republicans do when they lose elections....they change the rules.
