Remember how Trump demanded $5.7 Billion for his stupid wall then eventually folded like a cheap lawn chair after refusing 0 for the wall and a more than reasonable $1.67 Billion offer for border security?

Well guess what. Congressional leaders have agreed in principle to another deal this time. ZERO for his wall and $1.4 Billion which can be used for fencing. Note - the $1.67 Billion from before could have also been used this way.

In other words he's getting even less this time.

Trump is like the guy that pays sticker price for a last year model car and thinks he got a great deal because they threw in the floor mats free.

Great job stable genius!

It remains to be seen whether IQ45 will sign off on this deal or wait till he gets even less.

"I want to see the president [Trump] succeed. It is important for the defense of the United States. It is important for the security of the entire world. But I'm worried about going into these negotiations without a strategy, and without a strong, full state department to back him up."

Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) Senate Armed Services Committee 18/03/11 FNS, commenting on Trump's North Korea summit w/ KJU,
the summit after which Trump triumphantly declared:

“There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea.” President Trump 2018, after his poorly prepared summit w/ NK/KJU

I may not agree with Warren about much.
But I agree that the risk of Trump failing is the risk of the U.S. failing.

There are lots of workers that don't want another government shutdown.

AND !!

Trump has already said he'll get as much as he can from the Democrats, and get the rest, legally, elsewhere.

No - he's waiting for Hannity and Limbaugh to tell him what to do. I hope he rejects it and embarrasses himself some more.
I hope he rejects it as well. 55 miles won't cut it.
