Beware of incoming bombshells in tonight’s filing in Manafort case

Rebuild With Biden!
Manafort will probably be pardoned by the even bigger criminal.
Even so he won't be off the hook, he will still be facing charges...
Funny Trump calling Manafort a brave man. Just read Manafort could be sentenced to 22 years.

Ex-Trump campaign boss Paul Manafort could get 22 years in prison, special counsel Mueller says in massive 800-page filing
  • Paul Manafort could get nearly 22 years in prison when he is sentenced next month in just one of his criminal cases, special counsel Robert Mueller said in a court filing unsealed Saturday.
  • The special counsel called for a stiff sentence, highlighting his "bold" criminal actions and extensive pattern of deceit that "remarkably went unabated even after indictment."
  • But Mueller did not recommend that Judge Amy Berman Jackson impose a particular prison sentence on the longtime Republican operative.

New York prosecutor reportedly preparing to charge criminal ex-Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort whether or not president pardons him

New York authorities reportedly are preparing to criminally charge convicted tax cheat and bank fraudster Paul Manafort whether or not President Donald Trump pardons his ex-campaign chief.

A presidential pardon would not protect Manafort, who is awaiting sentencing for a slew of federal crimes, from state-filed criminal charges.

Trump has previously criticized special counsel Robert Mueller's cases against Manafort, whom the president has called "a brave man!" on Twitter.

Bloomberg News first reported Friday that Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. is ready to file tax and other charges against Manafort, including possibly ones related to laws requiring the keeping of accurate business records, in the event that Trump pardons him.

When you read about all he has done, it's not surprising he should get 22 yrs. I've also been reading about the prison for elite men who get busted. No doubt Manafort and Roger Stone will be a resident there if they don't get pardoned. Trump would probably pull strings to get them there. Cohen, probably not as lucky. I am interested in what Cohen has to say the 5th of March (if it ever happens). Not counting on it.

We're in another blizzard until around 10pm The whole state of NE seems to be affected. We've had more than our share, for sure this year. We have a generator back-up but have rarely needed it. The smaller cities seems to have a longer wait getting their power back up in storms. Kind of cozy in a warm house looking out at the snow, but pity those who have to be out in it. My daughter stayed in Lincoln this weekend. Glad of that. No need being out on the roads tomorrow going back to school. She doesn't live on campus so she and 3 other girls renting a house have to hire their snow plowing done. They have 3 attached garages and another detached so they all have their cars protected.

Fox Noise didn’t tell you this but we already know from the filings in the Manafort case that Manafort, while Trump’s campaign chair, surreptitiously provided internal campaign polling analyses to a Russian spy.

No collusion?

No new bombshells released yet. The publicly released document is still heavily redacted, and Manafort’s 2016 shenanigans are the subject of future proceedings...

Relentless lying to law enforcement, including communications with Team Trump after he pledged to cooperate with Mueller, are highlighted. Manafort clearly expects to be pardoned, failing which he would spend the rest of his life in the slammer.
