Oh jeez...NY state prosecutors charge Manafort with even more crimes

Poor Paulie Walnuts...

Gets about three more years in the slammer, rolls out of the courtroom in his wheelchair (he was walking just fine before he got thrown in the slammer), and his lawyers have to tell him he was just charged with 16 more counts by NY State prosecutors.

Now THAT is a bad day.

Here's the deal. The state of NY is going to drop the hammer on poor little Paully if Trump pardons him. Instead of being released he'll be arrested for the NY state indictments and probably kept in jail. If Trump doesn't pardon him that's just fine. They'll take it to court in NY State and if they can convict him (which is a pretty sure bet) they will sentence him. They can have his sentence run concurrently with the federal time or consecutively. Either way no matter what Dolt 45 does Paully will be sleeping behind bars for a long, long time.

Is this fair? Manafort shouldn't get out because Trump abuses his pardon power. It is up to the state of NY to make sure that true justice is served.

Who in their right minds would got to jail for Benedict Donald !?!?

Manafort needs to go to jail cause he's too stupid to be out on the street with productive humans.

Extra pressure on Manafort to stop lying for Trump.

He might sing anyday now, and Trump will then tweet that he’s a “rat,” like he did with Cohen.

Nah, that would wreck his pardon chances. So he’ll bide his time before singing.

Looking at the facts surrounding the Manafort cases, there’s just no doubt that Trump dangled a pardon to tamper with a witness and obstruct justice.

And I fully expect Mueller to indict him again for conspiracy when Mueller drops his big bombs.

Manafort has a tough decision to make - continue to lie for Trump, or come clean.

I think he’ll await his pardon from Trump and continue his lying.

Manafort is in a very bad, bad place. He has one small thread going for him. Cyrus Vance Jr, the Manhattan DA is as corrupt as the day is long. He might be able to bribe his way out of the NY charges. Unfortunately for Paully, Vance's corruption has been widely talked about which may make it impossible for him to let Manafort off easily. He'd have to throw the case and in this case there will be an awful lot of press watching very closely.

If Trump pardons him it will be at the end of his term or as a hail Mary attempt to distract the press from something even more damaging to Trump.

All in All Paully is in a very, very bad place. He doesn't have a lot of options.

It's all about pardon-proofing Trump's corrupt and crooked associates. Ha ha.

Back when I was a Loan Originator, I posted that....

"in order to close a loan, any loan, I need to break at least 3 laws, that's how the laws are written."

Today in Illinois, it is illegal to get paid for loan origination; the state expects you to work for free. Charging a fee is illegal as well as the YSP (Yield Spread Premium) ... and those are the only two ways to get paid. I got out of it just before that became law, so now, I guess, they have to break 4 or 5 laws to close a loan.

My point is this; the state can charge anyone with mortgage fraud for any loan closed in America, regardless of whether there really was any mortgage fraud.

It's all about bank fraud and insurance fraud.
You should do business like Trump. Take out a loan, hire contractors to do the job, then refuse to pay the contractors. In sum, borrow money, don't pay it back.

That is baby talk, and it is so stupid, it is hard to know where to start explaining the real world to you. First of all, we were talking about mortgage fraud, which has nothing to do with contractors, it has everything to do with the mortgage laws of the state... in this case, the state of New York. You should look into that can of worms. It isn't as easy to understand as you might think it is.

2nd, contractors are pay-as-you-go... they don't begin work on the next phase until they are paid in full for the last phase. If Trump really never paid his contractors, as you claim, he would not have finished any projects and no one would work for him. That's exactly the opposite scenario of what really happened over the past 40 years and billions of dollars of real estate development. Have you ever Googled "Trump International Realty"(Link)? Notice the four tabs to view buildings in the other 4 continents of the earth. How about "Trump golf courses"(Link)? ... get a clue before you push more slander.

doubtful State conviction can be served either way with Federal convictions

question is will he do as Hillaryous said she'd do if convicted and take half of DC down with him?

what difference does it make
if dies in club fed or at home
he's still dead

Tell that to all the contractors and lawyers Trump stiffed.
