I believe it should be mandatory for all Presidents to show their tax returns.
It would reveal possible compromise in a President's financial life. If a politician doesn't want to do this, they shouldn't run for the office, IMHO.
What do you folks think?

No. It is not required so if a future president wants to provide their personal taxes, have at it. In the meanwhile, Trump cannot be forced to give out his personal tax information.

This law could be passed and apply to future Presidents.

There is no law so no ones opinion here matters

It's mandatory to show his returns for the years he's in office.....only! I get a kick out of you leftists always wanting to change the 'rules' when you don't agree with them. Lol!!!

He does not have to release anything. Maxine Waters also has Russian investments. As do I thru an international fund

The law does not force a POTUS to show us his taxes, yet. As with all things Trump, he breaks tradition and custom and his supporters look the other way like the followers of ultra-rich preachers and con men. His returns will be revealed and then we shall see just how legit this man's fortune is.

All Presidential candidates should be required to reveal how many abortions they have had. If a politician doesn't want to do this, they shouldn't run for the office.

Your post is ridiculous. If you want tax returns, only vote for candidates who provide them. It's not the government's job to do your work as a voter for you.

So out of curiosity, what were you looking for in Trump's returns that would have made you vote for him? What was missing that you couldn't?
