you believe that gutlesss punk retired from the Army? do you mean the Salvation Army? anybody who is too chickenshit to go grocery shopping without a gun would be too scared to have been in the army. what you stupid shit morons keep forgetting is, having a gun on your person does you no good in almost every possible scenario, and is actually more dangerous in most others....the bad guy gets to choose when and where to begin the attack. do you really think he is going to let you call time out while you "go for your gun" if he singles you out for a mugging of some sort? or do you plan to walk around in public with your gun out, cocked and loaded, pointing at every potential target as they come near you? just how [Unwelcome language removed] scared and paranoid are you boys? and let us say you have your gun in an active shooter scenario and you are happy to try and answer the call- do you know for sure who is the bad guy, and maybe there are two people with guns and you are firing on a guy doing what you are doing? and are you sure you can only hit the target if you do shoot from more than 15' away or so? Trained cops do not shoot very accurately in a live shooting scenario. Third, accidentally shooting you or somebody else. Fourth, in an active shooting deal, you rise up to fire at who you believe is the bad guy, and the cops arriving on the scene either shoot you, mistakenly, or do not shoot the bad guy fast enough because they are unsure who is who.
and most importantly, WE KNOW THAT EVERY COUNTRY THAT HAS WAY LESS GUNS IN PUBLIC, AND EVEN IN PRIVATE, HAVE WAY WAY WAY WAY LOWER HOMICIDE RATES, ESPECIALLY GUN RELATED HOMICIDE RATES, OF COURSE.
and since 67% of all murders involved guns, and 77% of all murders with 2 or more victims, it makes sense the less guns in public, the less murders. get it? a bad guy with a gun, if enough people began wearing guns in public, would probably just resort to shooting first to avoid any chance of being injured.
