"if it's yellow let it mellow if it's brown flush it down"That didn’t answer the question, little troll. : )
Yee Haw 14 mph per gallon,a real gas hogNot fat, but I drive a 4WD pickup with a 6.7L Diesel.
14MPG. You are free to crap your pants now.
Grants come with conditions. Conditions the nutbags running Kalifornia have failed to meet.
Glad I could educate you on that.
The idiot Democrats tried to force one on Florida, to connect Orlando with Tampa. They continued to stomp their feet and have huge temper tantrums even as market research showed that most people would not be using this multi-billion-dollar boondoggle.Good. Bullet trains are a black hole for tax dollars, especially in the hands of idiot Diwmingers in Kalifornia.

Actually, if bullet trains are a good idea, the FREE MARKET will demand them. There won't need to be this multi-billion-dollar welfare to the rich handout from Washington. The local taxpayers can pay for it.They will come sooner or later. Time to stop being behind the times and work our way to the front of the pack again.
Welcome back. ; )Actually, if bullet trains are a good idea, the FREE MARKET will demand them. There won't need to be this multi-billion-dollar welfare to the rich handout from Washington. The local taxpayers can pay for it.
As far as being behind the times, it's patently obvious you've never actually worked in business (or any other job more important than entry level burger flipping, if you've ever worked a job in your life at all.) Business decisions aren't made on being "behind the times." Investors do not shell out billions of dollars just to be fashionable. Not even in the fashion industry. Nobody with any brains at all (which means liberals probably would) engage in shelling out dough just to be ahead of the times.
You actually referred to tax deductions as welfare. Then you sniff at the idea that federal funding for a project that would ONLY benefit locals is not welfare.Welcome back. ; )
This isn’t a welfare program. Is our highway system a welfare program? LOL
So highways in California are welfare? LMAO. Sounds like you don’t understand it, sweetie. You actually referred to tax deductions as welfare. Then you sniff at the idea that federal funding for a project that would ONLY benefit locals is not welfare.
It's clear you don't know the meaning of the term "welfare."
Let's look at the purpose of federal roads. It was Eisenhower who pushed the original Interstate Highway system in the 50s, and it WASN'T for the sole purpose of making family vacations more convenient for the automobile movers. It was for national Defense, as a way of having a system that could move heavy artillery equipment in the event of an attack on our shores.

That always gets liberal panties in a twist.Yee Haw 14 mph per gallon,a real gas hog
Bullet trains are replacing airplanes, silly.100 Billion train to nowhere. The dream of politicians who have nothing invested- just leaving generations of taxpayers on the hook.
Could have built 2 brand new airports- and banked 80 billion.
BUT no one ever said my leftist socialist nut base in Cali was smart.
BAM!You’re right, but it’s cheaper in the long run for everybody,
I'll wait patiently while you produce some unbiased reports that show the break even point, and the amount of time it will take to reach that. Let's see some numbers.
as it’s more sustainable and cheaper to maintain.
Do you even know what the term "sustainable" actually means. Yes, I know, that [Unwelcome language removed] knucklehead Obama kept tossing out the term "sustainable" and I don't think even his dumb ass had any idea what it means. Bullet trains are based on a higher form of technology that is a lot more expensive. Because of the higher speeds over the land, insurance costs are going to be much higher. There also has to be much more expensive track laid with much better protections on each side of the rails to prevent animals from wandering onto the tracks. So tell us all about that "cheaper to maintain" thing while you're at it.
Don't just say "well everyone agrees it's more sustainable and cheaper to maintain." We aren't buying that bullshit. Don't produce some opinion poll from MSNBC and claim it's science. Produce actually studies, and more than one.
It is also cleaner for the environment.
How is that? Assuming this bullet train will not be run on wind power or solar, there will be a certain carbon footprint. The tracks will be laid on land that was previously pristine nature property. Animals, natural flora, all will have to be removed to make room.
When you do you taxes do you take any deductions? If so, you’re on “welfare” too.
That probably qualifies as the dumbest and most uneducated thing you've ever said on this forum. But I fear you'll top it later on.
Welfare is getting something you haven't earned. Food stamps; AFDC; Section Eight housing; Medicaid.
A tax deduction is a form of social engineering that the government has put out to influence behavior. Government wants you to donate to charity, so it makes those donations tax deductible. Government wants you to run a business, so business expenses are tax deductible. Government wants your business to provide health insurance to your employees, so those premiums are tax deductible.
Yes, I agree there is such a thing as welfare to the rich. That huge sum of money President Trump just prevented from going to KKKalifornia to create that bullet train si a prime example of welfare to the rich.
You people seem to thing KKKalifornia is such a rich and prosperous state (even though you have more homeless and poor than both Mississippi and Alabama combined.) Pay for the trains yourself.
Actually, if bullet trains are a good idea, the FREE MARKET will demand them. There won't need to be this multi-billion-dollar welfare to the rich handout from Washington. The local taxpayers can pay for it.

Gavin Newsom had already scaled the train WAAAY back.California has the funds to upgrade their rail system without trump,
Sure they do, they can always tax the $hit out of something else. Maybe do an air use taxCalifornia has the funds to upgrade their rail system without trump,
Gavin Newsom had already scaled the project back quitee a bit. They will come sooner or later. Time to stop being behind the times and work our way to the front of the pack again.
By building a wallBetter they should fix the homeless problems
