The UN does not define american law.
Fact: American law DOES NOT say that they need to apply in the first safe country.
US law does say that they have a right to turn themselves in to US border patrol to request asylum no matter where
they come from. US law even says they can apply here even after entering illegally.
Why not refer to US law?

Retirement communities...LOL. Of course parts of Mexico are safe, but too much of it is not. Corruption is widespread. There is also little opportunity for foreign people to get assistance, as most of the country is poor. The southern states are some of the poorest. I think you know the border cities with the US are some of the most dangerous in the world and Mexico City has many problems, even in the outskirts.
We are building a house in Costa Rica, I travel internationally about once a quarter between pleasure and work, occasionally more. : )

God forbid that we should ever have another such as he. He was not liked then though for some unknown reason these last two generations, who were born after he was long gone, seem to think well of him. A leader? Haven't we suffered enough political leaders? There is none on the horizon who could lead anyway, a day dream, a fancy only. No such person as could lead could ever get near number 10 anyway. I would say that we need our politicos, all, to do what they are supposedly in Parliament to do; look out for the nation and not for the pockets of thieves and pimps and other good for nothings profiting from past political follies. It would be a long and laborious job to get back all that has been lost in a decent, civilized and dignified manner as opposed to mass murder as was Churchill's very favorite sport.
Great Britain is a geographical description btw. It is simply the description of all Isles of Britain together as opposed to just the main Island of Britain and I dislike this chest thumping shit about being great nations. Great civilizations are sadly a thing of the past.
