M16 was .223..…….when it contacts target (human body) it follows bones...…...may be leg shot but come out shoulder...or who knows......I've killed more deer with a .243 and never have them step off few feet if any than with my .300 mag…goes through so fast they can run like forever...as…...308 goes in and blows big hole on exit...……...223 tumbles before impact.

It's a nice gun, but complicated. Mine broke and I had it to two different gun smiths who couldn't figure it out. I have to send it to a H&K armor specialist in Virginia to get it fixed. I hope this works out for them.

I've heard from more than one source that H&K's customer support as far as repair parts is pretty weak, but the consensus is that that is because their stuff just doesn't break much.

Well mine did after less than 1,000 rounds, which did surprise me because I had heard that they were pretty much indestructible. At least the guy I found who is ex special forces and a certified H&K armament expert is extremely reasonable.
