If $15 minimum wage law succeeds make no mistake

if it passes and becomes law within a very few years the "progressives" will refer to the massive unemployment and increased suffering of those who chose poverty will be referred to as an un-intended consequence. That will be yet another lie, the democrats have a desire to drive as many as possible into poverty to that they can retain power. Economic slavery is the DNC model and if you support them you will get just that.

There is a McDonalds near me that was closed back during the winter from a fire. Monday it opened again after being rebuilt. I went in because there aren’t many lunch options in that area and it was something different. They cut the counter down from 4 registers to 2, and put in 2 self serve touch screen kiosks. The one register open had about 4 people in line. I walked up to the kiosk, ordered, paid, and sat down faster than the first person in line could order, and I never had to communicate with a McDonalds mutant. I also was able to customize my order, and verify it was correct instead of relying on the mutant at the register to hit the right buttons (a task that they prove to be very difficult).

Bring on the increased minimum wage so I don’t have to interact with the mutants when I want to go slumming.

Dmes will just blame Trump or the GOP in general, even if they hold the White House (is that racist yet?) and both houses of Congress.

Truthfully, I don't go to McDonalds any more. As a substitute teacher, I've seen some real morons in the high schools. And those so stupid that they DROP OUT are now flipping burgers at Mickey D's.

Like I really want those idiots handling my food, huh?

And that is another perfect example of how the poor actually chose to be poor. No one made them drop out of school, in fact it was made difficult but the chose to anyway. Now they want to raise a family on an entry level job SICK

Technology is going to replace humans everywhere it is possible. Self checkout has made a big impact in most every kind of store.

do you hear that giant sucking sound?

It's the sound of jobs disappearing down the drain if the minimum wage goes to $15.00 an hour, from the current $7.25.

Businesses will be forced to either raise prices, or fire employees. You all KNOW which one they will choose.

And most important to remember is that WHEN that happens it will not be an un-intended consequence but is intended.

Technology has been replacing stupid humans for as long as there have been stupid humans.
The automobile put stagecoach drivers and workers in buggy whip factories out of work.
Self pump gas stations put the Goober Pyles out of work.
The internet and cable TV movie channels put video store employees out of work.
YouTube has pretty much made all music free. (Which I suppose is okay since state of the art recording studios are REALLY dirt cheap.)
Drum machines replaced drooling drummers.
Word processing software has put print shop employees out of work.
Tax filing software put a lot of accountants out of work.

McDonalds is just one minimum wage raise away from automating the entire restaurant. They have already automated their prep and cooking process for their new fresh angus burger. They will have it to where each restaurant will only have a could techs on sight that can work in the robots.

Paying Minimum Wages Gets Minimum Work

They will be forced to lower their profit margins, which is why they make the Low-IQ claim that higher wages for workers = higher prices for the public. The free market is a fleece market.

Better hope it doesn't, or your friend MV will have to close his restaurant as he posted...…..

Few small businesses will NOT be able to digest this and many Large businesses...…..I believe an employee should be paid what they are worth

I think it should be raised, but $15/hour is pretty unrealistic.
