Leftist lust for illegals and their sanctuary cities is killing America

So, if an illegal citizen robs a Bank in a sanctuary city, it's not robbery, it's an undocumented withdrawal ?
I suppose it depends whose side you’re on ... the banks, or everyone else?

Now isn't that interesting?
Hotair.com, citing Judical Watch, told us in 2015 (pre-Trump) that "sanctuary cities" have rising rates of violent crime while citylab.com, citing the Center for American Progress and the National Immigration Law Center, told us in Jan. 2017 (early Trump) that "sanctuary counties" have less crime and better economic conditions than elsewhere. The former compared a city to itself at different times, the later compared counties to other counties. Each looked at different indicators.
Each presented a different general conclusion.

So, data can be selected, analyzed, and presented differently. Statistics can be picked and spun differently. Facts, is seems, aren't so clear. Conclusions, it seems, aren't so absolute.

Yet, these days, people routinely call those who disagree with them some version of stupid or insane or evil.

ETR gives the only deduction possible, "it depends whose side you’re on ..."

"The banks or everyone else" says ETR. Yes, definitely. Also big business or everyone else, the jews or everyone else, Hollywood or everyone else, Marxists or everyone else, and on and on. Also Republican or Democrat, owner or worker, atheist or believer, and on and on.
Facts aren't so clear. Conclusions aren't so absolute. Stupid, insane, and evil aren't so absolute.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
1. Legal immigration is safer than illegal immigration ... illegal immigration is caused by restrictions on legal immigration, which are arbitrarily imposed for the sole purpose of encouraging illegal at the expense of legal immigration.
2. Undocumented immigrants still commit crimes of violence at lower rates than natural-born citizens.
3. Cities with sanctuary policies are safer than cities without them.
As I have repeatedly pointed out, you cannot make a statement about the "commission" rates of criminal acts, because not every crime is adjudicated. So you can factually say the undocumented immigrants are CONVICTED at lower rates than natural born citizens, but you'd expect to see that because simple logic suggests that, unless an undocumented immigrant is caught in the act, it is much more difficult to pursue and apprehend them because we don't even know they are here.

The fact that you persist in pushing that pro-illegal immigrant propaganda makes it much more difficult to take anything you say seriously.

Now recall life before the internet. The "facts" were only what was presented in the schools, printed in the local paper, broadcast by local radio and three tv networks. Books if one happened to hunt them down. Facts were selected for us. Certain conclusions were givens.

Comes the internet and vast stores of all sorts of information from numerous sources. Mightn't someone be exposed to information previously unseen and change their mind? Mightn't one person be exposed to information to which another hasn't been exposed and come to different conclusions?

Couldn't someone reevaluate, say, the history of WW2, or the moon landing, or the origin of life? Anything, really. Mightn't someone question the knowledge received through gatekeepers of the past without being stupid, insane, or evil?

A comedian? LMAO...great source.

And yes, thank you very much for proving my point.
No, you're lying. I proved that liberals love abortion. You've proven nothing other than your own dishonesty and denial of obvious reality.

Except, banks are literally antagonistic to everyone else. Big business (when ranged with the big-business banks) is antagonistic to everyone else. Everyone else you mentioned, not so.

On the contrary ... undocumented immigrants have less security, meaning when they commit crimes they are almost certainly much more likely to be caught, prosecuted, and convicted.

If your position is correct, though, that would be an argument for an amnesty that would bring them out of the shadows in which (you assert) crimes can be concealed and into the light of day.

You're a LIAR. I'm a Liberal...I don't love abortions. You think no con posting here has ever had an abortion? Maybe you should read the posts more carefully.

Every entity mentioned -- in the first list -- is essentially synonymous.

I lived in San Antonio in the eighties and it was widely reported that the illegals would rob (and even kill) Americans and be back across the border before the cops could mobilize an investigation. How many of them do you suppose are in the "illegals 'commit' crimes at a lower rate than natural born citizens" category? You are wrong. Outrageously wrong. Knowingly wrong. As wrong as anyone has ever been in the history of the world wrong.

When people talk about “illegals” they are talking about long-term immigrants, not people who take advantage of the way the imperialist powers set up systems of national jurisdiction to come across the border for a few hours and commit crimes. Similarly we don’t describe tourists who pop in for the weekend as “legal immigrants.”

A few hours? More like a few days, a few months a few years - and when their life of crime here starts to catch up with them, they do one last grab and go. And, typically, after another few days, a few months or a few years, they come back with a new identity and do it again.

Sounds like we are paying the price for Mexico and the U.S. being separate countries with a closed border and split jurisdiction, instead of part of a single Soviet Union.
