Once again, we see who the racists really are. This time, it's the racist leftists at MSNBC (emphasis added):

"It was a weird phone call – with an even weirder request," Atencio writes. " ‘Why do you ask?’ I replied. 'Please don’t look too Latina.' At first I thought I didn’t hear correctly. ‘I beg your pardon?’ I asked. ‘When you pick your outfit, I mean. Don’t look too Latina.' "

The manager allegedly didn't stop there with her unsolicited fashion advice.

" 'Why don't you go to Saks Fifth Avenue and have someone help you out,' " Antencio recalls. " 'Have them pick out something demure. Not too colorful or tight. Think Ivanka Trump, OK?' "

There you have it. Hispanics aren't smart enough to pick their own clothes. Those dumb brown people need help from Saks Fifth Avenue.

Hey, at least they had some good taste, using Ivanka Trump as an example of how to dress.

wow!! earth shattering story!! way to keep us posted!! MORE THAN A YEAR AGO, some unnamed manager at MSNBC told a latina reporter to not dress too latina at some event. that is at least twice as racist as trump calling almost all the millions of mexicans here illegally murderers and rapists with only some maybe being good people. or trump calling a caravan of poor folks walking slowly across mexico to legally apply for asylum in this country invaders, a crisis, a national emergency, threat to our national security!! and way more racist and/or bigoted than trump wanting to ban all muslims from coming here for any reason. and way more racist than him telling 2 black congresswomen who disagree with his racist bullshit policies to go back to Africa.

and isn't it weird this "story" was reported by NBC news, who also is connected to MSNBC, and it says the manager was reprimanded and MSNBC apologized for her actions. yeah, this is a front page type story exposing the dark racist side of something or other. oh, yeah...telling someone to not dress too latina. i hope she recovers from such a massively hateful remark....

DID YOU EVEN READ THIS PART OF IT- you had a link to it in your silly whiny post-

An MSNBC reporter says a higher-up at the company told her to not "look too Latina" at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

In her book "Perfectly You: Embracing the Power of Being Real," Venezuela-born Mariana Atencio recounts the 2017 incident, according to NBC News and Newsweek.

The outlets report that Atencio claims she received a phone call from a female manager (who remains unnamed) asking her what she planned to wear to the dinner.

MSNBC called the manager's comments "highly inappropriate and unacceptable" in a statement to USA TODAY.

"More than a year and a half later, when it was first brought to a manager’s attention, immediate action was taken," the statement continued. "Since this is an HR matter and there are privacy concerns, we won’t go into greater detail."

In an interview with NBC News, Atencio said she didn't include the story to focus on the negative, but instead, "to remind readers that these things still happen."

"We have to call them out and have conversations as adults about how to get past them," she said. (more than a year and a half later...yeah, that is believable. maybe she just wanted another 15 minutes of fame)

Replace 'MSNBC' with Fox News, and You-Jim would have posted an 18 page profane ranting ignorant diatribe.

Wait, you already did.

no, you are lying when you think a fake woman not smart enough to be a democrat who fantasized about having a base can have a clue what her betters think or how someone with a measurable IQ would react to a manager telling a rookie reporter here from Venezuela in maybe her first shot at reporting from any kind of real event to not dress too latina. is it goofy? yes. it is maybe uncalled for? yes. could it have been a genuine attempt by this manager to help her dress more like a seasoned pro, and not like a young rookie who might be a little inexperienced in what look she should go for in reporting something to a bigger audience in this country? yes. whether fox or nbc or msnbc were involved. although i feel sure if it had been fox we probably would not be reading about it from Fox, like this story was first shown on NBC!! or that the manager was rebuked. see how that works?

Two (highly intelligent) observations here:
1. This post has absolutely nothing to do with Donald Trump and your stretch that he is a racist
2. revelations of left-wing racism are so infrequently reported I would not put such a seemingly restrictive self-imposed statute of limitations on them.

You’d hate to have to restrict Donald’s statements to only those under a months-long artificial deadline wouldn’t you? Just think of the crotch-grabbing headlines you’d have missed out on! (11 year old comments, tsk tsk)

why do you lie so much. name any part of my reply that had any blame directed at the victim of being told to not dress too latina. why do you lie? i did question why if this happenend a year and a half ago why is she bringing it up now, but then i remembered she just wrote a book, and she needs to publicize it.

first, neither comment is even sensible, much less intelligent.

second, the first post claimed someone at MSNBC telling a young reporter to not dress too latina is racist and bad and naughty, so i rebutted that silly ass claim by comparing it to some of trump's most racist, sick ass quotes, tweets and actions. get it? try harder...

and last, and least, even a dumb trump stooge should see the reason why examples of "left wing racism" are so rarely reported- they happen so rarely. duh. like this- a manager at MSNBC, not an editor or a pundit or a talking head with any political input, told a rookie reporter to not dress too latina- how is that connected to leftist politics? is she a democrat? is she a political leader with any influence over anyone? was what she said so racist in the first place- to tell someone to not dress too latina? what whiny wimps so many trump voters are!!

why would i have to restrict racist pig trump's statements to the last month or so? this too latina remark was made over a year and a half ago!! and do you believe racist remarks made 2 years ago or less racist for some reason than those made within the last month? i have no idea what you are talking about..but then again, neither do you.

Yes, you blamed the victim. It seems you have a problem with women, particularly women of color, like this woman who you're claiming is making a false accusation in order to sell a book. Why?

Now we need to restrict our political statements only to those “editors” or “pundits” as YOU see fit? Naaah, thanks, but if your side is allowed to bash all Republicans or all conservatives by what’s posted on anonymous message boards I feel an MSNBC set producer is good enough credentials to form an opinion around. You don’t get to make the rules over who we’re allowed to post as a racist.

And then you apparently want to impose a statute of limitations on how long ago comments are made? Meanwhile off-hand sexist remarks Trump made over 12 years ago are used to paint him as a misogynist? That’s your idea of fairness Dr. Nazi police-state content guru? Stuff your ever changing set of rules based on political preference.

you can say the local newspaper boy is a leftist and quote him if you want to. but that makes about as much sense as to say because a manager at MSNBC told a young reporter to not dress too latina, that means the left is really racist!! are you taking drugs? i bash repubs and trump voters and trump for being racists, sexists, and bigots to varying degrees because of the statements they make, that i can quote, or policies they endorse, that can be fact checked, and if they do not stand up to trump publicly when trump spews sick ass racist/bigoted/sexist shit or enacts sick ass racist/bigoted/sexist shit. every trump voter who will vote for trump again is a racist, bigot or sexist or a combo thereof. only a racist-bigot-sexist could vote for trump after seeing him in action these last 2 years or so. period.

what makes you think i am setting a time limit on racist statements. washington and jefferson were racists but there is no doubt they would not be today. get it? society does change over time, the more time, the more change...but anyone who makes an obviously racist statement since society has become less racist, since about 1980 or so, and less sexist, since about 1990 or so, who spews racist or sexist shit without apologizing and promising to do better, is a racist and/or sexist.

You have the nerve to repeatedly and hypocritically spout off “a year and a half” numerous times, with exclamation points and then ask “what makes you think I’m setting a time limit”??
Are you cranially impaired or honesty deficient? Perhaps your screeds are so long you’re forgetting your own nonsense?

questioning why something so trivial happened a year and a half ago to this lady and she is just now publicly talking about it is a valid question. but it has nothing to do with discounting her story, since MSNBC and NBC have both reported it happened. but then i remembered she said during the same interview she had written a book, and it makes sense that she would try to find something interesting to talk about to try and push the sale of the book.
