Dem gov of MN gives housing to 150 illegals. 18,000 Mainers waiting for section 8

The expenditures that are being used to house the asylum seekers could and should be used towards housing for those Maine residents who have been on a list and waiting for housing. Regardless of the being on a "list", the funds are being freed up to house the seekers, and could instead be used to help those on the list.
Funny how conservatives are against helping the homeless find houses in principle, until they can use their newfound concern for the homeless as an excuse to attack refugees.

Data points. I reference data points. When folks who cross our border are consistently favored via policy over and above citizens, what other conclusion can a reasonable person draw? Why would ALL TEN CANDIDATES on a debate stage raise their hands when asked “do you support FREE healthcare” for these non-citizens? Especially when most of those same ten folks support and/or voted for ACA, which FINED citizens if they didn’t sign up and PAY for their healthcare? Several times now you have chosen to ignore this very telling juxtaposition.
They didn’t. They were never asked such a question. What all of them did say was that aliens would be under the same health care system as citizens under their proposals.

So it goes with housing in Maine. Citizens have been waiting for housing for YEARS. However, nearly-immediate lodging can be arranged for non-citizens. Whether you choose to contort the issue to section 8 versus “temporary housing” is not compelling. Homeless would LOVE temporary lodging while they await a permanent solution. But feel free to continue avoiding THAT specific detail as well.

Bad faith posting. This forum is LOADED with it. You folks won’t be precise and address the specifics of what is written. Just respond with a coupla platitudes and we’ll call it good, right?
And what about those military barracks? Wouldn’t the homeless love to have those available? But the government gives preference to the soldiers over the peaceful citizenry for some reason.

And what about all those office buildings? Wouldn’t the homeless love to have those available? But the government gives preference to business over its own citizens.

What about those mansions? Etc., etc.

All conservatives? Or do you get to pick and choose which ones you think have "principles"? I am a conservative, and in my case, I find your assessment to be asinine, as you know nothing about me.

I disagree that government can find “temporary housing” for non-citizens but is PARALYZED to do so for citizens who have been waiting for years. This is silly - and any governor and legislative body could quickly remedy this.
I agree with that political sentiment. But if Maine doesn't get it done, you can't find fault with the Governor for executing the laws in hand.

Sure I can. If I were governor, I’d pressure the legislature to re-allocate. But the fact is, as I noted elsewhere in this strand several times, the Democrats have abandoned working Americans in favor of a new constituency.

This is pure silliness. Unserious would be a charitable description.

BS!

Do you support section 8 and other help homeless people?

Do you think we should invest more in those programs?

Just to get you on record.
Sure - but that is of little use to people in need now...who are being bypassed by the DNC-preferred constituency.

If you aren’t a citizen, you get to hop in the express lane to housing while citizens continue to wait. If you aren’t a citizen, the Democrats want you to have free healthcare while we citizens pay for ours.

Perhaps Americans should all renounce citizenship so the Democratic Party will press our interests,

NO - they are not here illegally since their claim they fear for their life back home is a lie. They are are just poor trash who want to go on welfare and live off the hated white people. THINK
Doormats Deserve to Be Spat On

It's more than hate. The feral races have nothing but contempt for Whites because we have no power to make them run for their lives.

So you support expanding public housing?

Most of them DO NOT fail to show up for their hearings.

Your Fox Propaganda Channel has been lying to you again.

FACT:

"Recent data shows that asylum seekers continue to appear for immigration court proceedings at high rates. In fiscal year 2018, Department of Justice (DOJ) figures show that 89 percent of all asylum applicants attended their final court hearing to receive a decision on their application. When families and unaccompanied children have access to legal representation, the rate of compliance with immigration court obligations is nearly 98 percent."

I'll call your 89% and raise you 90%.
Perhaps it is your Liberal Blog that has been lying to you.
