Does he have any actual health care plans? Or does he just want to roll with what we got?link?
actually he wanted to get rid of what we had...Does he have any actual health care plans? Or does he just want to roll with what we got?
Gotta disregard these anti-liberty, Constitution-hating lefty collectivists who treat it as a presumptive foregone conclusion that ANY president should have a “healthcare plan” (aside from his own family’s coverage, of course). I don’t accept it as a given at all.link?
Presidential candidates should have policy agendas.Gotta disregard these anti-liberty, Constitution-hating lefty collectivists who treat it as a presumptive foregone conclusion that ANY president should have a “healthcare plan”
Telling someone they SHOULD have family coverage sounds like a resounding endorsement of the individual mandate.(aside from his own family’s coverage, of course). I don’t accept it as a given at all.
Normal men take care of their families and ensure that they have what they need. Alien concept to moochers, slackers, and those who depend on others, I know.Presidential candidates should have policy agendas.

Hence the individual mandateNormal men take care of their families and ensure that they have what they need. Alien concept to moochers, slackers, and those who depend on others, I know.
If a president's health plan is to get the government out of it, then Trump needs to quit being a p*ssy and say it so we can all judge his garbage healthcare policies.Presidential agendas should not include forays into our lives. I know how to get my own insurance. What’s more, stating that a “health plan” is a presumptive part of a pols agenda is wrong. That is all.
No mandate. I’d likewise state that normal men ensure their families are fed as well. Nothing to do with “mandates” or government. You really need to stop inventing stuff. It’s dishonest.Hence the individual mandate

You don't want to mandate people take care of themselves? No mandate. I’d likewise state that normal men ensure their families are fed as well. Nothing to do with “mandates” or government. You really need to stop inventing stuff. It’s dishonest.
Make your choices and live with them. Leave other people alone. Quite simple, really. You don't want to mandate people take care of themselves?
No mandate is making allowances "moochers, slackers, and those who depend on others".
People without insurance go bankrupt just about every time they go to the hospital. Which drives up healthcare prices for me. Which isn't leaving me alone.Make your choices and live with them. Leave other people alone. Quite simple, really.
Going bankrupt/stiffing one who is owed is no different an impact on hospitals as it is to any other business. You shouldn’t be allowed to nationalize your economic fears about price point in any given industry. The fact that collectivists choose health care to make this very errant argument betrays the larger goal.People without insurance go bankrupt just about every time they go to the hospital. Which drives up healthcare prices for me. Which isn't leaving me alone.
Except Hospitals rightfully can not turn away customers who can not pay. If hospitals are forced to give emergency care(which was the right thing to do), then patients should be forced to pay.Going bankrupt/stiffing one who is owed is no different an impact on hospitals as it is to any other business.
The bankruptcy argument is about stiffing the hospital AFTER the bill is due. The ER argument is about hospitals being required to serve all who enter with a need.Except Hospitals rightfully can not turn away customers who can not pay. If hospitals are forced to give emergency care(which was the right thing to do), then patients should be forced to pay.
You claimed that hospitals are not different than any other industry with regards to their bad debt. Which is false, Hospitals are mandated to service customers without regards to their ability to pay which gives them far more bad debt. The bankruptcy argument is about stiffing the hospital AFTER the bill is due. The ER argument is about hospitals being required to serve all who enter with a need.
So repeal bankruptcy protections. Each person should own his debt.
They are NO DIFFERENT once that debt is incurred and “bankruptcy” ensues. Now then, downstream obligation to serve irrespective of ability to pay is a DIFFERENT issue - which you chose to conflate. You claimed that hospitals are not different than any other industry with regards to their bad debt. Which is false, Hospitals are mandated to service customers without regards to their ability to pay which gives them far more bad debt.

Yes, In your world Hospitals should be forced to serve to customers who can not or will not pay. Not much for individualThey are NO DIFFERENT once that debt is incurred and “bankruptcy” ensues. Now then, downstream obligation to serve irrespective of ability to pay is a DIFFERENT issue - which you chose to conflate..
The problem with that a huge percentage of medical debt happens in the last 6 months of people's lives. People racking up a bunch of medical debt then dying is effectively the same thing as bankruptcy protections as far as creditors are concerned. Hence the individual mandate, so payment is guaranteed before their customers go dying.Make individuals MORE responsible, not less so. Restrict medical debt from bankruptcy protection like some other categories of debt are if you like. Just leave other citizens alone and solve your own problems...like a man.
