Btw, what crime did Hunter Biden allegedly commit?

Bugsy McGurk

President
The only “defense” offered by Trump toadies for his Ukraine outrage is that he wanted Hunter Biden’s crimes investigated. But I have yet to see any Trump toadies even allege what that crime might have been.

Can anybody concoct an alleged crime by Joe Biden’s son?

he took a very profitable job with a natural gas company in Ukraine, that had already been investigated for corruption and cleared BEFORE he took the job. that is naughty.

I don't recall ever accusing Hunter Biden of a crime other than possessing and using crack. It was his daddy Sleepy Joe who extorted Ukraine. THAT is a crime.

But congrats on being innovative. You've gone from dodging other posts to your own OP being a dodge itself.

He may have committed the same crimes that manafort hadn't committed until it turned out he had committed what he didn't commit

you are lying again and again and again repeating that same lie about biden extorting Ukraine. all economic sanctions, all withholding of foreign aid, that this country undertakes to get any other country to quit enabling corruption, or quit funding terrorists, or quit trying to get nukes (as in North Korea and Iran), or quit seizing land in neighboring states (as sanctions against Russia for Crimea and Georgia), or meddling in our election (as in Obama sanctions against Russia in December, 2016) could be called bribes if you are an idiot. but sane people call them foreign policy. biden was working at the behest of this government and the EU to fire the most corrupt prosecutor in Ukraine, and not for any personal gain...HE WAS NOT PROSECUTING BURISMA AT THE TIME BIDEN WAS INVOLVED...why do you keep repeating lies?

here is how the EU reacted to Shokin being fired by the Ukrainian parliament-
EU hails sacking of Ukraine’s prosecutor Viktor Shokin
Political crisis continues as deals on a new coalition and premier prove elusive

European Union has welcomed the dismissal of Ukraine’s scandal-ridden prosecutor general and called for a crackdown on corruption, even as the country’s political crisis deepened over efforts to form a new ruling coalition and appoint a new prime minister.

Ukraine’s parliament voted overwhelmingly to fire Viktor Shokin, ridding the beleaguered prosecutor’s office of a figure who is accused of blocking major cases against allies and influential figures and stymying moves to root out graft.

“This decision creates an opportunity to make a fresh start in the prosecutor general’s office. I hope that the new prosecutor general will ensure that [his] office . . . becomes independent from political influence and pressure and enjoys public trust,” said Jan Tombinski, the EU’s envoy to Ukraine.

“There is still a lack of tangible results of investigations into serious cases . . . as well as investigations of high-level officials within the prosecutor general’s office,” he added.

not even close. manafort pled guilty, then did not, then was found guilty. Burisma had been investigated and cleared BEFORE biden, jr. accepted the job. clues are handy things to have when posting.

Now there was a burisma investigation that cleared? In one of the most corrupt countries on the earth? Yanukovich fled at that time and Biden came there threatening to withhold a billion.... But an investigation occurred and was validly cleared...?

Link...?

i have posted the irish times article that clearly showed the EU reaction of ecstasy when the corrupt Shokin was fired. here is an article clearly stating burisma, and by extension biden, jr, as an employee of that country was under no suspicion or investigation when biden came to get shokin fired in 2016. do you ever read a real newspaper?

WASHINGTON (AP) — In 2014, then-Vice President Joe Biden was at the forefront of American diplomatic efforts to support Ukraine’s fragile democratic government as it sought to fend off Russian aggression and root out corruption. So it raised eyebrows when Biden’s son Hunter was hired by a Ukrainian gas company.

The Obama White House said at the time that there was no conflict because the younger Biden was a private citizen. And there’s been no evidence of wrongdoing by either Biden.

Yet the matter is back in the spotlight following revelations that President Donald Trump prodded Ukraine’s president to help him investigate any corruption related to Joe Biden, now one of the top Democrats seeking to defeat Trump in 2020. Trump’s private lawyer Rudy Giuliani has also publicly urged Ukrainian officials to investigate the Bidens.

Hunter Biden was named a paid board member of Burisma Holdings in April 2014. The company’s founder was a political ally of Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine’s Russia-friendly president, who was driven out in February 2014 by mass protests.

Yanukovych’s ouster prompted the Obama administration to move quickly to deepen ties with Ukraine’s new government. Joe Biden played a leading role, traveling to Ukraine and speaking frequently with its new Western-friendly president.

The younger Biden’s business role raised concerns among anticorruption advocates that Burisma was seeking to gain influence with the Obama administration. At the time, the company ran a natural gas extraction operation in Crimea, a Ukrainian peninsula annexed by Russia after Yanukovych was pushed from power.

The matter, however, has continued to be questioned by Trump and his allies. They’ve pointed in particular to Biden’s move in March 2016 to pressure the Ukrainian government to fire its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who had previously led an investigation into Burisma’s owner.

Biden was representing the official position of the U.S. government, a position that was also supported by other Western governments and many in Ukraine, who accused Shokin of being soft on corruption.

Corruption has continued to fester in Ukraine. In May, the country’s new president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, came into office with no political experience but with bold promises to put an end to the corrupt practices.

Around this time, Giuliani began reaching out to Zelenskiy and his aides to press for a government investigation into Burisma and Hunter Biden’s role with the company.

In a Fox News interview on May 19, Trump claimed the former Ukrainian prosecutor “was after” Joe Biden’s son and that was why the former vice president demanded he be fired. There is no evidence of this.

Ukraine’s current prosecutor, Yuriy Lutsenko, was quoted by Bloomberg News in May as saying he had no evidence of wrongdoing by Biden or his son. Bloomberg also reported that the investigation into Burisma was dormant at the time Biden pressed for Shokhin’s ouster.

by the by, Lutsenko just announced last Friday that the burisma case and many others were being re-opened to make sure they were handled correctly. more than 3 years after biden helped get Shokin fired, at the behest of this country and the EU.

Can anybody concoct an alleged crime by Joe Biden’s son?
His wife can:

Hunter Biden has weathered various troubles in his life. A 2019 Vanity Fair profile on him said his estranged wife claimed in divorce papers that Hunter had allegedly “blown money on prostitutes, strip clubs, and drugs,” but the magazine noted that “the split was settled without the allegations being litigated.”

As an eye witness she says:

1. Prostitution.

2. Drugs

But she is a democratic...So what are the odds she is lying?
