Mr. Friscus
Governor
On Tuesday, President Trump urged Mexico to “wage war” on drug cartels after the massacre of at least nine American citizens — three women and six of their children from a Mormon family — in the Mexican state of Sonora.
Members of the LeBarón and Langford families, related families with U.S. citizenship who are part of a break-away Mormon community in Mexico, were ambushed by a cartel while traveling in a three-car caravan to a wedding on Monday.
Members of one of the Mexican drug cartels that have been terrorizing the region reportedly opened fire on the vehicles and burned them, resulting in the death a total of nine people and injuring at least three others. The families suspect that a cartel based in Chihuahua is responsible for the massacre.

Seems to be a no-brainer as far as something we can rally around.
However, I'm sure saying there is a drug cartel problem is Mexico is somehow "offensive" to Mexicans (or white/black American leftists will become offended for them), and thus we have to ignore the severe consequences of reality. I mean, we can't possibly admit any negative things can happen from a victim class's home culture.
Meanwhile, the actual victims, who were brutally murdered, can't be exploited to support the agenda. They are white, religious folk. Leftists and Democrats more and more view them as the problem. No sympathy for these types.
