Suburban Republicans abandoning Trump

Yeah Republicans swept that state, first time in 26 years Republicans captured the attorney general job with an African-American conservative. The only thing that went wrong in Kentucky is Bevin, the governor candidate.

Virginia was lost years ago. Years ago. Northern Virginia is Washington. Northern Virginia is the Washington establishment (cough cough Blackface)
Trump helped Bevin.....with his reverse Midas touch.
Republican consultant Rick Wilson wrote the book on it: Everything Trump Touches Dies.

No argument from me. I just think it was more personal than political affiliation.
It's a two-fer. Personality and policy.
Bevin's attacks on ObamaCare Medicaid expansion aka KYnect and teachers and unions.....was very Republican.
Bevin is now refusing to concede the election......very Republican and very Trumpian.

Ok, than why did the voters INCREASE the number of seats for the GOP in the state legislature?

Because they don't care about those other elected positions....and resumed their robotic hitting the Repub tab in the voting booth. All I'm saying is Bevin's personal negatives were amplified by attacking teachers and Obamacare Medicaid expansion.

The Affordable Care Act is doing well despite Trump trying to kill it. The problem is that the democraps went through many hoops to make sure prices were not touched. The ACA should be built upon instead of killed. Controlling cost is just as important as making sure everyone is included in health care. Deductions are Way too high in the ACA for example.

This is why Warren is a serious candidate.
Where in the ACA are deductibles mentioned at all? That legislation was far too complicated and should have been 3 or 4 separate bills. In any case, I agree that we should not be tearing it down and hope to start over...because that will never happen. If should be amended to fix what the problems are. Leave the pre-existing and coverage to age 26 stuff there. Fix drug prices and establish a pool of funds that can be used to reduce the costs of the most expensive diseases.

Tuesday's elections results showed that in PA, KY and VA, and even some sign of that in MS.

Suburbs, home of the educated vs the "poorly educated" rurals.

When they admit it, you know it's true.

“Republican support in the suburbs has basically collapsed under Trump,” Republican strategist Alex Conant said. “Somehow, we need to find a way to regain our suburban support over the next year.”

Why are you quoting Conant? He was the strategist that helped Marco Rubio lose. Do you really think a loser knows what suburban America thinks? I don't, and there's no indication that he does either. But then you would post anything as long as it is against Trump.

The Repub vs Dem vote count in the suburbs, comparing prior elections to 2018 and 2019 elections......tells the story.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
I am anti-fascist to my core.
But pro-authoritarian, am I right? Fascism is less about left/right than it is about control. Of course leftists can be fascist, which is a form of authoritarianism that (ostensibly) allows private ownership of the means of production. Not really all that different from the neo-socialism you support, especially once you add in the mind control wokster cancellation aspects.

Your count is off. Republicans are out working and don't have time for silly polls.
I'm not doing the counting. Your Republican party is and they see that suburban republicans are abandoning Trump.
The educated populate the suburbs while Trump's "poorly educated" are in rural areas.

Ownership of the means of production is key to understanding the political structure that is set up first and foremost to protect that system of ownership. There is a vast difference between a corrupt, bureaucratic state that serves the capitalist class and a corrupt, bureaucratic state that serves the working class, the state’s essential antilabor nature notwithstanding.
