Hammered schiff and the dimwitted etal.
Nunes did his best to meander around the standard republican accusations going back to the investigation of Russian actions during the 2016 elections.

He came off as a whiny stooge of the Trump White House...as his trips to see Trump to keep him apprised of what was being learned about his actions. Remember when he had to recuse himself in 2017?

I heard the word “hypocrisy” in there a few times. Good for him, he’s been attacked and lied about long enough.
Good for him to be on the offensive.
Did you hear Nunes misrepresent the aid Obama sent to Ukraine? He dissed that support as sending blankets. Actually one of the shipments to Ukraine was counter battery radar. That proved decisive in combating Russian supplied artillery.

His comment was also irrelevant to the issue at hand. Did the administration communicate that the Ukraine was required to announce an investigation prior to receiving aid?

You gotta be [Unwelcome language removed] me!
Obama’s “aid” to the Ukraine!? You have some nerve offering that outrageous nonsense. Obama’s policy on Ukraine was, briefly, “F@&$ Ukraine”.
We told Ukraine to disarm and we would offer them protection. Obama stabbed them in the face.
He was roundly criticized from the left and the right on Ukraine policy. And rightfully so.

The best part?
Who was the one coaching Obama and trying to prevent the area from going to shambles?
None other than Joe Biden.... gee can you wonder why?

Obama cost thousands of Ukrainians their lives, you’re delusional if you think he deserves credit.
Sorry you asked??

Sure thing....not like Obama got the EU to impose sanctions...right? Don't suppose US and allied troops provided training to a demoralized rabble of an army.

Figures you'd blame Obama for the lives lost due to Putin's attack on Ukraine.

Did you forget that the Trump campaign watered down the republican platform and eliminated the call for weapons for Ukraine?

Yeah it sure “figures”. That’s what one of the biggest mistakes of his foreign policy caused.
And that fact (not opinion) is known universally- except for those in a sad state of denial.
That’s why I posted the wide political swing of criticism he received for Ukraine. So it’s not just coming from me.
But your knee-jerk reflexive defense of Obama is so innate you have no ability to be objective. Your reverence is quite unshakable.

Seems you forgot that Trump dropped the republican platform plank to send weapons to Ukraine....the Javelin missiles were sent in 2018.

We never told Ukraine to disarm. They got rid of their nukes.
The Budapest memorandum was signed, through which Ukraine agreed to give up its nuclear weapons. Stupid move, as we can readily see. had they kept their weapons they would be roughly the third strongest nuclear power on Earth, and nobody would be [Unwelcome language removed] with them today

It's good to be president. You get to do stuff like that and drive extreme partisans nuts.

No, they weren't ordered to.
They did so willingly, with conditions, as set forth in the Budapest Memorandum.
Then Obama decided not to back them up when Putin acted tough.

Why so willfully ignorant?

2014: Pavlo Rizanenko, a member of the Ukrainian parliament told USA Today that Ukraine may have to arm themselves with their own nuclear weapons if the United States and other world leaders do not hold up their end of the agreement. He said "We gave up nuclear weapons because of this agreement. Now, there's a strong sentiment in Ukraine that we made a big mistake."[15] He also said that, "In the future, no matter how the situation is resolved in Crimea, we need a much stronger Ukraine. If you have nuclear weapons, people don't invade you."[16]

On 13 December 2014 Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko stated that he did not want Ukraine to become a nuclear power again

So we are in agreement...they did not disarm.

So we are in agreement...they did not disarm.
"In 2014, after Russia annexed Crimea and began arming separatists in eastern Ukraine with tanks, armored vehicles and rocket launchers, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko came to Washington to plead for weapons to defend his country. In an impassioned address to a joint session of Congress — with Biden sitting directly behind him — Poroshenko said his country appreciated the nonlethal assistance he was getting, but declared “one cannot win a war with blankets.”

The Obama-Biden administration was unmoved. The Wall Street Journal reported at the time that “President Barack Obama stuck to his refusal to provide weapons or other lethal military gear to Ukraine, despite a passionate appeal Thursday for help in fighting pro-Russian rebels by Ukraine’s president.” Why? The administration feared that lethal aid would provoke Moscow.

So what did the administration give him? Instead of RPGs (rocket-propelled grenades), we provided MREs (meals ready to eat) — food rations. As one frustrated former Pentagon official put it at the time, “What kind of message does that send anyway? We are sending MREs while they are being invaded by an aggressor.”

Nobody is in agreement with you except. .....you.

Obobo sent food and blankets.

Nunes is the "Shifty Schiff" of the far right
What a f'n joke.

Pull your head out of the sand. Name one thing Nunes had blatantly lied about or one single witness he has tampered with.

To compare him to Schiff demonstrates you don't have a clue what you're babbling about. Maybe you should stick to softball.

By March 2015, the US had committed more than $120 million in security assistance for Ukraine and had pledged an additional $75 million worth of equipment including UAVs, counter-mortar radars, night vision devices and medical supplies, according to the Pentagon's Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
That assistance also included some 230 armored Humvee vehicles.
