what about when every skill is replaced by robots?
When will these robots arrive that can go down into basement and do electrical & plumbing? When will robots build and roof homes? How about the robot to rebuild a cars engine or a robot tow truck driver, what do they charge hourly?

I am sending my kid to college, like a responsible parent.
Trade School is college...……...TS grads can make more than many with BS degrees, hell, college you speak of doesn't promise a JOB. A responsible parent would give their kid their own home before college....get back with us in 17 years.

I have a kid with a PHD...……...2 that don't but doing fine.

Low-skilled jobs are far more likely to be replaced by automation, as gas station attendants and elevator operators were. Self-checkout at retail establishments, for example.

Doctors, lawyers, engineers, programmers.....not-so-much.

Neither does Trade School.
Negative, a job is waiting TS graduation or before graduating...…………...there's a severe shortage of all Trades and not same for Liberal Arts...……….you better start saving if you're going to a responsible parent in 2037...……$100,000 today not going to get you much by then...…….and appears you not even going to ask the kid what she wants to do!

The unemployment rates for college educated are much lower than the non-college educated.

This would be true except we're gonna vote for Warren and she gonna tax the ever living shit out of boomers.

I will ask her as long she wants to go to college.

How about their debt levels?

LOL. No, she's not, sucker.

I will ask her as long she wants to go to college.
Just don't go into debt for it. I got through college and grad school with no debt, and my daughter is doing the same thing.
