“Some of the models suggest that there is a 75 percent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during SOME of the summer months, COULD BE completely ice-free within the next five to seven years,” Gore claimed.
Now read the headline where it claims Gore claimed the North Pole WOULD BE completely ice free in 5 years, to what the article quoted Gore as saying, that some of the computer models suggest there is a 75% chance, during SOME of the summer months, the North Pole COULD BE completely ice free!! not even close!! but you quoted it anyway....twice!! see how you got played?

Do you have trouble understand what words mean, about predictions and 75% chance and could be and some models and all the qualifying words used in that prediction actually mean?
how can even a trump voter claim he was spectacularly wrong? he never said what WOULD happen, without any doubt, in fact, he was quoting models that claimed it was not even close to being 100% a sure fact!!

Seriously - does this guy think it is going to fly that there was weasel room in his statement? If he didn't intend for people to believe it was going to happen, he should have just kept his mouth shut. It's like they think that the low probability event in his prediction being the outcome, thereby completely refuting his reason for making this statement in the first place, has absolutely no bearing on his stature as a policy advocate. It is absurd!
