CNN Settles Lawsuit Brought by Covington Catholic Student Nicholas Sandmann

That is true, but then again you're not telling the truth oh, so there's that
Again, feel free to point to a lie. As you know, when you can actually catch a poster in a lie, you give specific links to a specific statement and demonstrate that it is untrue. When it isn’t, you resort to vague generalities like “everything you said.”

I missed the part where the amount of the settlement was disclosed. If all he got from CNN, for example, was an agreement to pay their own lawyers and to keep quiet about the settlement terms ... would that mean he was rewarded “handsomely”? What if he also got a token $50?
You missed a lot of things

I did. Many times.

Sandmann stood there.

No amount of fabrication on your part changes reality

if all Sandmann did was stand there, which is true to a certain extent, except when you put the whole event in perspective- an old, obviously a little goofy old Indian guy, banging a tiny drum, obviously no threat to anyone, for some reason decides to walk through a throng of 30 or so high school boys bused in to a dumbass anti-choice protest in Washington DC from Kentucky to make the protest seem larger, who have decided to wait for their bus home on the steps to a public monument, that should be kept free from a throng of clownish boys so those who want to go up the steps can do so without having to go through such a crowd, this sandmann kid, to the delight of his silly high school homies, decides to not stand aside as this old dude walks towards him. NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. no big deal. not racist, not bigoted, not violent, BUT RUDE. DISREPECTFUL...and not the way any church or school would want any kids to treat an old man, even if he was the one deciding to walk thru the crowd, instead of going around. IN SHORT, no big deal but the kid could have handled it a lot better, since the other kids seemed to look up to him, maybe he could have shaken the old guy's hand, with a real smile, not a sneer, and stepped aside, as most kids are taught to do so an elderly person can pass by or go first.

it is true that the kids were mocking the old man, BECAUSE HE WAS PRETTY GOOFY- chanting and banging a little drum while walking through them as they blocked the steps...what group of kids would not make fun of that? but i didn't see it as bigoted as much as just kids acting as a mob being unruly kids, and i do not remember any CNN reports or other media that lied about what happened and no one can seem to provide any to back up their claims he did.

even the kid's own church related school admonished their behavior!! did he sue them, too? since when is it wrong to watch an event happen and describe it the way you want as long as it matches the video?

Bullshit.

This is America, persons are free to gather, the boys too... Much like the native American and black Israelites before them.

Or no? It's different for these boys, you say?

Need to mischaracterize continues apparently...

Hate is a strong drug.

Philips had myriad paths to take...why didn't he?

Uh Your second link shows the Covington Bishop apologized to the KIDS.

This happened after the whole story came out- and showed the kids weren't in the wrong.

Thanks./

Link to where I said he didn’t stand there, if that is the “lie” you claim I told.
So did you say this: "Until he started moving that way. Just as no one was blocking his intended path until Sandmann stepped into it." How about: "Phillips approaches the mob to calm them down. And as he did so, the video clearly shows Sandmann stepping right in front of him"

If Phillips stated intent was to calm the situation...

Why did he bypass the black Israelites, and instead focus on high school boys, who stood about minding their own business?

remember now the black Israelites were the ones screaming racial epithets, threats, derogatory commentary, etcetera

He provocatively blocked his path and smirked in his face while his friends mocked his race and religion.
Phillips had no path. The kids were standing in a line and Phillips approached them beating on his snare drum. They were under no obligation to get out of Phillip's way when he was the obvious aggressor .

That doesn't fit the Leftist narrative of the white devil exploiting, persecuting, abusing, spewing racial hatred; and disliking soul food.

Do more research. Once the entire video was released the Bishop apologized to Sandmann and his family. "The Diocese of Covington has finalized its report on the encounter between students from its high school and a Native American activist at the Lincoln Memorial.
The report, compiled by four investigators from Greater Cincinnati Investigation Inc. for the diocese, found “no evidence” that Nick Sandmann or any of the other Covington High School students made “offensive or racist statements” to Nathan Phillips".
CNN and many of those in the MSM did NOT apologize and continued to perpetuate a lie. Therefore, CNN paid up, just as I suspect will happen with many other sources who slandered a teenage boy.

I don't know about all that, but it does seem to me the Philips chose to pick on the kids because the black Israelites were just a bridge too far
