CNN Settles Lawsuit Brought by Covington Catholic Student Nicholas Sandmann

Bullshit.

This is America, persons are free to gather, the boys too... Much like the native American and black Israelites before them.

Or no? It's different for these boys, you say?

Need to mischaracterize continues apparently...

Hate is a strong drug.

Philips had myriad paths to take...why didn't he?
why didn't the good little church boy show him some respect and get his homies to quit mocking him? why did his own school and the bishop admonish his punk ass the same way CNN did? why are you so stuck on defending a mob of kids picking on an old guy?

I don't know about all that, but it does seem to me the Philips chose to pick on the kids because the black Israelites were just a bridge too far
how is walking through a bunch of kids blocking the steps to a national monument PICKING ON THEM? a tad too sensitive of the term "picking on." oh, no, an old dude slowly walked thru a group of rowdy punks blocking the steps to a national monument!! lock him up!!

Uh - Dates and times don't mean anything to you, do they?

The school and church went off CNN's reports and admonished them

Then a few days later when the truth came out and media outlets showed what really happened and backed off the story- They apologized.

"Eleven minutes into the video, the first Covington Catholic students come into view. They caught the eye of the man who shot the video who said to the teens: "Tell 'em come over here in the lions' den instead of mocking over there. You little dirty-ass crackers. Your day is coming."

The students walked away and conversations between the Black Israelites and other people continued. Nearly 20 minutes later, some of the students reappeared.

"That's Make America Great Again. A bunch of child-molesting faggots. Just like your damn Donald Trump," one of the men said to the students."

See, the white minor kids are an easier target - and leftists have to side with the people who hate Trump.

It's maybe that simple.

Because those are lies. The kids were minding their own business. The black Israelites spewed vulgarities and epithets. Phillips accosted the kids.

Why do you give a pass to all that...instead choosing to pick on kids?

They weren't. They were waiting for a bus. While the students walked away and conversations between the Black Israelites and other people continued. Nearly 20 minutes later, some of the students reappeared.

"That's Make America Great Again. A bunch of child-molesting faggots. Just like your damn Donald Trump," one of the men said to the students."

Then Covington minor kids were the only ones getting mocked.

Which is why CNN is paying up and why media worldwide, and everyone else apologized to the kids.

Bad reporting and bias made the kid rich !

So, opinion only. Do you not believe that he was at least being smug? Or trying to make his friends laugh, as they were doing?
no. there is no way to tell, other than where ones programming tells them they must think so.

he could have been trying to keep a straight face. he could have been trying to hide his buck teeth. can i discount it entirely, no. maybe.

but in the context presented (an actual video) the man (philips) had ample space to go where he pleased. instead he went straight at the kids...

meanwhile..the ones spweing vulgarities were nearby.. why didnt he go there?

Very good question! Why didn't Phillips approach the Black Hebrew Israelites. I believe he knew he might get his as* kicked and could not intimidate them.

im just noting..

if a kid just standing there looking at phillips is a racial insult of the highest order...

(this is the bar some here are setting.. standing still..is..a..racial attack...)

then the black israelites were berserker attacking the white kids.

yet..phillips..bypasses them...

odd stuff?

Or think not.

But I agree that there isn't enough info to make assumptions. My opinion is that he was being smug. But of course it's just an opinion. As a trump supporter, I'm sure your opinion doesn't match mine.

not the case, but i understand the reflexive need to backhand.

let's play with smug.

was the kid smug before phillips approached? no way to tell..
what then drew phillips? as the kid(s) stood minding their own business.
if smugness was the draw... why wasnt a group screaming epithets and insult a draw? given phillips wanted to diffuse something. why not go the the source?

that's not trump supporting, it's simple logical observation... and an unwillingness to slander kids for the sake of politics.

Your questions are going into a bit of fantasy to try and fit your narrative. Being smug in no way would require "screaming epithets" to make it so. To stand there with a smirk on your face could be considered to be smug. Other kids appear to be laughing at what he is doing, which could play into it.

I have no way to prove what was in his heart, which is why it is my opinion. You don't either and you are sharing yours.

So you don't slander kids for the sake of politics? Did you make the same comment during the Trayvon aftermath? Or is that different?

at issue is the reason phillips chose to approach the kid(s) to begin with. is 'smug' something that warrants approaching someone and accusing them of all manner of misbehavior..none of which was occurring, on the part of the kid(s), preceding his approach?

further.
you go right ahead and point to my slander of trayvon...then we can talk.
your shitty backhand, noted.
