66% of Americans want John Bolton to testify

Two-thirds of Americans surveyed want former national security adviser John Bolton to testify in the Senate impeachment trial, according to a Quinnipiac national poll of 1,562 voters released Monday.

71% of Americans want Trump to let his people testify at a senate trial.

The public is paying close attention. McConnell and Trump's plan to get the trial and proceedings dismissed....just won't happen.

The polling favors justice and democrats on the issue of witness's and evidence so it's weird to me why Pelosi would give up the articles right now.

Also, the impeach and remove numbers continue to inch up relative to after the impeachment vote so the more Americans hear of Red Don's crimes the more they hate them.

Do you think 66% of Americans even know who John Bolton is? I guarantee you, far less than 40% of Americans have a clue as to who he is. This is complete and utter nonsense.

Regardless though, I'm fine if he testifies or if he does not. How many witnesses testified in Bill Clinton's Senate impeachment trial...just curious...

WASHINGTON — House Democrats will send the articles of impeachment to the Senate on Wednesday, signaling an end to the nearly month-long standoff between Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell over the shape of President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial.

If Democrats don't get off their lazy asses, nothing will happen.

So your position is that most Americans are politically ignorant which could end up working in Trumps favor.

What you and those people don't understand is that the Senate is the jury. The jury doesn't call witnesses. It looks at the information brought to it then it decides.

Pelosi has brought squat.

The Senate has the power to listen to more........but doesn't have to do it.

"The public declarations by Senator McConnell that his role in the impeachment process is to coordinate with the White House and thereby make a mockery of the trial directly contradict his oath of impartiality."

Patriotic Americans want John Bolton to testify. McConnell, the non-juror, should make that happen.

The house appoints people to act as prosecutors...they should be allowed to call witnesses.

So why didn't schiff-head allow R's to call witnesses in the House?

There's a reason founding fathers created 'trias politica'
