Trump wants McConnell to vote for immediate dismissal. Will that happen? Nope, says McConnell.
The crazed....was Trump.

agree. everybody knew this show was going to the big stage...
With all due respect Phil, many normal people from both sides of the political spectrum and pragmatic Independents are interested in seeing a fair trial here. I think most people fit into one of 5 categories which are:

1) Trump haters who want him out no matter what and are looking to get rid of him by hook or by crook.

2) Trump idolizers who feel that the whole investigation is a sham or witch hunt and he can do no wrong.

3) Those who are not convinced that enough evidence was presented to back up the charges but are willing to consider other evidence or witnesses that have been barred from testifying by Trump.

4) Those who agree that what the House investigation revealed about Trump and Giuliani is true and was wrong but don’t really care as long as Trump appoints judges they prefer and keeps up his hard line stance regarding immigration and border security or other issues important to them.

5) Those who feel that the evidence clearly shows that Trump,Giuliani, Parnas, Fruman, Nunes we’re involved in a politically motivated scheme which was not in our national interest and undermined our official foreign policy and agents thereof. That said, it is up to members of The US Senate to hear all relevant evidence and instruct all relevant witnesses to testify before them, THEN decide what, if any action should be taken by them as per the US Constitution.

Taking into account all of these categories, the breakdown is very close regarding those who want him removed and those who don’t. Probably something like this:

35% want his ass thrown out regardless

35% don’t care what he did and or insist that this is all a witch hunt.

30% who are not yet convinced one way or another at this point and will wait until all the facts and evidence are presented. Because there will probably never be 67% of the US Senate willing to vote to remove him, he will most likely not be removed, but if 55% or more of the voting population believe he acted recklessly and continually lied, it could be a factor in the next election. In any case, I think it is heathy for America for the congress to challenge any President if they feel he/she is abusing his/her power.

As was expected all along. Do shy away from the musings of the crazed, and avoid made up shit

https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/15/politics/pelosi-naming-impeachment-managers/index.html

This public service announcement brought to you by Phil fish
Republicans are saying the trial took place during the indictment and all the evidence you have ignored waiting for the trial is all the evidence that should be presented.

So I guess where back to the "normal people" , Catch 22ish chant of "you can't prove what we refuse to let you see".

you left out a category...

Those that feel it is possible that Trump did indeed commit an act unbecoming of the office of the President, but that said act does not rise anywhere near the level of 'high crimes and misdemeanors' required to remove a President from office.

Those people should explain themselves. Can you explain them for us ?

America is a circus.
The world today is a circus and America is in the center ring. Even so, despite the crooked scumbags and politicians who are running it from behind the scenes, we are still a great country. We, the American People greatly outnumber this small cadre of corporate war profiteers and bank percentage swindlers. The more we educate ourselves the stronger we become and the weaker and more afraid they become. In this age of free exchange of information, we now have the momentum. I am optimistic about the future. We are still in the early stages of our evolution as a species.

no really..
but i'll take a stab at it...

he should be tried and removed if guilty.

?

if that is what you meant, then i agree.
If you can prove that he is guilty without seeing or being allowed to present all of the relevant evidence against, him that is, because we are not going to allow you or anyone else to see it.
