My stepson just moved to Denver... he's turning 40 yrs old now, but as a child he attended Minadeo Elementary where Shady meets Lilac, just south of Squirrel Hill tunnel. Same thing happened to him that happened to us; moving to Chicago from Pittsburgh, you miss those foothills. So, now he is in Denver, but his little bro is not going to graduate from UIC until December. We will miss him. No more trips from UIC to stay at his bro's apartment for my youngest son, but heck, UIC is totally remote now, so who knows, maybe no more commutes period... everyone is predicting a resurge of the virus come Fall, so maybe this is it, the rest of my kid's college life is happening on his laptop in the other room.
