A question for Trump supporters...

Do you wish that Trump jumped all over the coronavirus invasion right at the outset, as did countries like South Korea, or do you think he did the right thing by denying its seriousness for weeks and claiming it was under control?
By his announcement that it was no big deal, there are only a few people who have it and it will be gone by April was absolutely idiotic. Even now people are saying it is a hoax. Some of the posters here seem to have ignored Trump's more recent statements about the dangers. Yes, we should have done a lot more about testing people entering the country at the front end.

If it makes VP Trump look bad it is a hoax and witch hunt, everyone knows that now. And that is why he wins in a 49 state landslide, because that 25-30% of the US will double vote - their vote and the Russian hacked vote - just wait until a red county of 5,000 in Wisconsin has 13,000 votes turned in. I mean he claimed he had a great conversation with Putin - surely outlining the summer plans and fall hacking.

And there we have it....

Not one Trump supporter willing to say they wished that Trump reacted to the virus threat early, as South Korea did, instead of his weeks of lying, denying and buffoonery.

But they STILL support Trump despite the catastrophe. A clear an indication of Trump cultism as we have ever seen.

According to the CDC, Trump's early response saved the nation and bought us more time than we would have had otherwise. I'm happy with Trump's response, and I regret that the left used that opportunity to call Trump a Xenophobe and racist over his early response. :)

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
You act like you’re not intellectually honest enough to answer a simple question.

Quite telling.
It takes "intellectual honesty" to understand and acknowledge that there are fundamental differences between two seemingly similar situations that affect relative national/cultural outcomes. So yes, it is "quite telling" that you seem incapable of doing so.

Not one leftist intellectually honest enough to acknowledge that the biggest differing factor in how South Korea and the USA "reacted to the virus threat" was the cooperation by citizens and not the (fairly similar) efforts by the governments.

Your posit is a false narrative.
You're trying to compare Trump to the do-nothing Barack Obama. Nobody is going to fall for your bullshit.

I think given the lack of information we had, largely based on CCP suppression of information and a compliant WHO who parroted CCP claims without any investigation, there were few other ways it could have gone than how it did.

Both Democrats and Republicans didn't know how serious this disease was until it was too late. That's clear based on the actual timeline, not the one the media is trying to furiously rewrite.

I'd hope this is a learning situation, where we learn to not trust a totalitarian communist regime (Is there another kind?) in China. We got burned.

After this, the world should go after China and the WHO... It depends on who Europe and the leftist world powers view as a bigger problem.. the lying and inhumane Chi-Coms or the USA.

It wouldn't surprise me if they sided with the Chi-Coms

"WHO"

Even if their tongue was notarized I wouldn't believe them.
