A question for Trump supporters...

Drumcollie

* See DC's list of Kook posters*
Robert R. Redfield was appointed by Trump to run the CDC in March of 2018.
Robert Ray Redfield Jr. (born July 10, 1951) is an American virologist. He is the current Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the current Administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, having served in both positions since March 2018.

He answers to Trump.

I was talking about the national emergency. Six months and thousands dead while you cheered.
And of course you have proof that I was cheering? If you don't that would make you a liar.

The Infections DIsease Society of America estimates 12,469 dead from April 2009 to April 2010.

Tell the poster who thinks the CDC isn't part of the government.
@Mr. Friscus
Does Donald Trump run the CDC?
Hint: he doesn’t

Do you wish that Trump jumped all over the coronavirus invasion right at the outset, as did countries like South Korea, or do you think he did the right thing by denying its seriousness for weeks and claiming it was under control?
Unfair question !

If they say yes it means he screwed up and his handling of the crisis was not perfect as he claims.

If they say no, then they will be unable to backtrack on their claims it was not a serious a threat, nor can they create new excuses for him in the future or blame Democrats for the outcome.

No, it wasn’t. Trump bought a little time which he more or less squandered. Now we have community spread in all major cities and coming soon to most of the rest of the country, and the travel ban isn’t getting more ventilators to those hospitals.
Of course it was. Thank God no one listened to your fellow death-cultists, who said the travel ban was "racist" and "xenophobic". If they had, we'd be burying a million corpses right now.

Instead of a couple weeks later? Because that is the only difference the travel RESTRICTIONS which I supported made.
