Wanna poverty....this is a poverty

He inherited a booming economy built on an expanding stock market bubble that happened to burst due to this virus and the government’s incompetent response.
We've already been over this. A booming economy is not having the worst annualized GDP growth of any President since the Great Depression. That's the worst economy since the Great Depression. Facts matter here.

Because Obama inherited an economy that was tanking, the steep decay of his first year and a half in office offset the slow but steady growth of the remainder of his terms, growth that slowed down throughout most of Trump’s presidency. After this year is taken into account, Trump’s record will be worse than Obama’s with respect to the statistic you cite.

Oh, and a big reason that GDP growth wasn’t higher under Obama is that he drastically cut the size of government and the amount of spending it did (at the expense of things like public health). Thanks, Obama!

A midget growing by a quarter inch is still a midget. Obama had the worst annualized GDP growth of any President since the Great Depression. Fact. That is NOT a good economy no matter how you spin it.

I Don't know how you can bitch about any growth at all when the Trump economy is experiencing the biggest contraction in recorded history.

Trump's GDP growth doubles the Kenyan freak's. That said, you are saying that Obama wouldn't have shut the nation down with a threat like this?

GDP growth under Obama: from $14.4 trillion to $19.5 trillion in 8 years (3.9% average growth per year).

GDP growth under Trump: from $19.5 trillion to $21.4 trillion (projected 2021) in 4 years (2.4% average growth per year).

Obama didn't have a single year of 3% growth now you pretend his average is 3.9%? Wow

What is wrong in the lefty mind that forces distortions and lies to be uttered incessantly?

are you just making up stats?
True. Obama's was actually just a pathetic 1.46%. By rounding up I did him a favor:

Ouch

Trump's average will end up being like -5%.

Care to explain how GDP rose 35% in 8 years without a single year over 3%? 1.03^8<1.35
Except that it didn't

It was at $15.4 trillion in 2009(January and then again in December) and by December 2016 stood at pathetic $17.82 trillion

But, this is how lefty works. He doesn't like the statistics so he just makes up his own.

Senator
In many states, they did (as they were medically compelled to). But when’s the last time a flagging economy turned around under a Republican? Maybe when Reagan was president?
Or Bush, who brought us out of Clinton's recession, or Trump, who brought us out of the Obama malaise.
