MUTINY! US Military Members Continue to ‘Photobomb Obama’ In Syria War Protest

worldlymrb

Revenge
The military revolt against the Obama administration’s plan to launch a potentially disastrous attack on Syria is gathering pace, with both top brass and regular servicemembers expressing their vehement opposition to the United States becoming entangled in the conflict.
The backlash began to spread on social media yesterday with numerous members of the military posting photos of themselves holding up signs stating that they would refuse to fight on the same side as Al-Qaeda in Syria. The photos went viral, with one post alone generating over 16,000 shares on Facebook.

Others have posted their photos on Twitter alongside the hashtag #IdidntJoin.

And these are the people Obama is counting on to disarm AmericAA- of their 2nd amendment rights?

Good luck with that Barry!

The fact is, these folks DID sign up to fight in Syria. They signed up to fight anywhere the US sends them. Claiming they won't go is tantamount to mutiny and treason.

Just another example of the sorry state our military is in.

I understand what they are trying to say, but, their Oath over rides what they are saying unless they are willing to take Other than Honorable Discharge........that's the damnation of enlisting, you no longer are a FREE citizen.........yeah it sucks, but, that's how it is........Service members maybe should be like politicians and have the ability to resign mid-mission.

Technically, yes.

But when it comes to war and human life, nobody should just blindly follow orders without questioning them..

People always talk about how "spineless" the Nazi's under Hitler were, even though they may have disagreed with his lunacy.

I guess "Sign Up and Fight For AL-Quada in Syria" doesn't make a good recruitment slogan.

Mutiny or hacking by a pro-Assad group?

Syrian Electronic Army Hacks Marines Website
A collection of pro-Syrian government hackers apparently defaced a Marine Corps recruitment website Monday.

The Syrian Electronic Army, which has hacked a series of websites, posted a letter on the Marines.com website arguing the Syrian government is “fighting a vile common enemy.”

“The Syrian army should be your ally not your enemy,” the letter read. “Refuse your orders and concentrate on the real reason every soldier joins their military, to defend their homeland. You’re more than welcome to fight alongside our army rather than against it.”

Obama isn't asking the military to put folks in the gas chambers.

When the government becomes lawless the only way to move forward is to break the law.

It's not clear who any of the people in the photographs are. Are these Marines posing with anti-Syrian intervention signs on a Marine recruitment website with messages that would be suppressed by the chain of command? That makes no sense.

See that's the thing. Where is this recruitment website full of Marines accusing Obama of fighting with al-Qaeda and expressing the sentiments of some troops by permitting photos that express opinions against US policy, against the CINC and in violation of Marine Corp regulations?

I suggest you read the link I provided.

And think!

No, but he's asking for them to risk their lives and kill others in the name of Al Quida.. an admitted enemy of the USA.

I'd speak out to, and would probably not go, and get discharged.

The Obama/Al-Quida connection that has been suspected but never much proven just got some proof.

Your right, we don't know who "they" are.

In fact , the recruiter hackers could have been NSA on a State Department contract for all we know.

...did they do this when we unnecessarily invaded eye-raq? No? They should have...

Lets stipulate that they are real Marines expressing an opinion on a website -- say facebook. (For sure they can't express those opinions on a recruitment site). So, the SEA, a group of pr0-Assad hackers, makes a mirror website to the marine recruitment site and adds photos from the fb site.

It's not unusual for Marines to get in trouble for expressing opinions on the internet. Happens all the time at Pendleton, Miramar and Coronado. The marines get right or get drummed. It's never a good career move -- particularly when it shows marines expressing the opinion that Obama is fighting alongside of al-Qaeda.

Is there Marine Corp opposition to a Syrian intervention? Yes. Are there marines that hold anti-Obama opinions. Yes. Was this a real Marine Corp website? No.

No, it hasn't. Obama put himself in a box with his big mouth. He honestly believes that the use of chemical weapons is somehow worse than conventional weapons and now he has to strike Syria to back up his red line rhetoric.

None of that means we're on the side of Al Qaeda or siding with terrorists.

It just mean he's an idiot who needs to do something to save face.

However, by saving face, he has attacked the enemy of Al-Qaeda in a civil war involving Al-Qaeda..

He knows this, but has put his face above even aiding the enemy.

Incredible.
