You haven't been here MA, very odd stuff has been going on here at times - it is calm enough at the moment but whole threads just disappeared in the middle of perfectly civil conversations and so on - they almost had a mass walk out because of it.
Perfectly civil conversations don't generate a barrage of reports. Barrages of reports and continued inappropriate posting despite warnings is what gets a thread closed/moved/deleted. We only have 3 Mods and one Admin. Each of us have jobs,kids,grand kids,residences,spouses,parents,vacations etc. Often,only one of us is here at a given point and we can't read every post. Sometimes a barrage of reports has to be dealt with by one of us without the benefit of consulting another mod/admin. We do the best we can.
