What if Texas left us?

You're really hung up on penises aren't you, Jocko. From what I read, it's white guys like you who are envious when it comes to penises on brown skinned guys.

The embarrassment up here is this:

You assume a lot, don't you?

Texas could do well without the rest of the country.
I would like to have Oklahoma secede with it though........so I wouldn't have to move to the new country of Texas.
You don't like your country.

That explains a lot.

Texas is still a territory in dispute for the USA and Mexico. Officialy its' territory belongs to us. But as far as Texas has one of the most independent economical systems of all states, it seems quite probable that they’ll prefer to get independent from this breakable country

I am not in Scotland and only have Wulk to go by to judge how the vote might go there next month - my gut feeling is that they won't split - for them, though not for the rest of Britain, I think it would be better if they did split from the Union, UK - But, anyway, it really is all down to Scotland, this seceding business, isn't it? For if they do, many many others, from all over, will follow suit, if they don't this debate will just fizzle away -

Frankly, the idea that Texas might secede is absurd. It would have to win the Civil War.
That's true! And as far as it's not only Texas, but also California and Alaska, it might really become true. Cause there're more and more people who don't like the idea of stain with the union

If it came to a vote, I would vote for secession. Get the US government out of Texas and we'd be a grand Republic.
That's quite what I was talking about!
Lots of Texans don't want to be a part of the union anymore! The only thing that stops them is the possibility of the civil war. Cause the USA government won't let them free! As no country ever would

I can't speak for Alaska, but many people in California don't want to secede. However, I did hear that a few people in one of the poorer sections of the state wanted to create a new state which isn't exactly secession.

Okay, can you please abstract your mind of the reality (cause the secession is not probable to happen unless the USA falls down) and just think about the idea in whole. The advanced states want to secede!! Isn't that awful?!
