That would make for a fun thread - things that took us a helluva lot longer than they should have, to figure out!

The Costco house brand bourbon is actually quite good, too. It's a seven year old bottled at I think 104 proof. Tasty...here's a surprise..
Do you have a costco near you? A friend recently gave me a sampling of the Costco brand.. (Kirkland??) cask aged dark rum..or some such... it..was...dynamite...
yep..costco. go figure.
There's a Costco near but I belong to BJ's and Sam's so I never joined. I never liked the dark rum as much as I liked the golden. Got into it when I lived in Puerto Rico. I will admit that I got pretty sloshed when we toured the Bacardi factory with all of those free samples but I actually like the Ron Rico better.here's a surprise..

My mom was half greek.....she LOVED Baklava! I didn't!It enhances the flavor of Baklava?
Did your mother also like Ouzo or Metaxa, or was she more Sambuca? I could eat a ton of Baklava!!! I get in trouble every time I pass a Greek bakery. My mom was half greek.....she LOVED Baklava! I didn't!
Baklava is way too sweet for my taste, but Ouzo brings back some fond memories.Did your mother also like Ouzo or Metaxa, or was she more Sambuca? I could eat a ton of Baklava!!! I get in trouble every time I pass a Greek bakery.
I don't know, I never had seen her drink much of anything. But I like Ouzo! We'll get a bottle every once in a while. That's good stuff!Did your mother also like Ouzo or Metaxa, or was she more Sambuca? I could eat a ton of Baklava!!! I get in trouble every time I pass a Greek bakery.

That's true, there are. But I'd prefer to let someone else wake up with 'the girls all get prettier at closing time'.Just because. There is, of course, a song for that...Many actually.

Hey, -Ta HeyMr. Fish,
Look for the Famous Grouse 12 year old. It comes with a green label. The regular Famous Grouse is just o.k.
Monkey Shoulder, it is blended, so doesn't have any special trait, because they have all been smoothed out in the blend, but still, it is pleasant drinking.
Hey, -Ta Hey
Picked up the Monkey Shoulder today.
Have to say, not bad...pleasant.

Mr HeyMr. Phil,
I've had several people tell me that. It's still a blended scotch, but very nice.
