yep..costco. go figure.

The Costco house brand bourbon is actually quite good, too. It's a seven year old bottled at I think 104 proof. Tasty...

yep..costco. go figure.

There's a Costco near but I belong to BJ's and Sam's so I never joined. I never liked the dark rum as much as I liked the golden. Got into it when I lived in Puerto Rico. I will admit that I got pretty sloshed when we toured the Bacardi factory with all of those free samples but I actually like the Ron Rico better.

Did your mother also like Ouzo or Metaxa, or was she more Sambuca? I could eat a ton of Baklava!!! I get in trouble every time I pass a Greek bakery.

Baklava is way too sweet for my taste, but Ouzo brings back some fond memories.

I don't know, I never had seen her drink much of anything. But I like Ouzo! We'll get a bottle every once in a while. That's good stuff!

Mt brother-in-law brought me a bottle of Arak over from India one time. It tasted and went down like a fine scotch. I asked him if that was a premium Arak. He said no..it was middle of the road. He paid $2 for it!

I've had several people tell me that. It's still a blended scotch, but very nice.
