Left Wingers try to legislate it and Right Wingers just want to toss stupid people to the wolves, but the fact remains stupid people exist and they'll always exist....unless we get into IQ testing in the womb along with termination of those less than 100.

It wouldn't surprise if that was true. Democrats try to protect people from themselves with a Nanny-State Bubblewrap society; mandatory seatbelts, bicycle helmets, ban guns, etc. People who would have naturally atrited themselves out of the gene pool now survive to procreate and replicate their own stupidity 2-6 times over.
The movie Idiocracy is a clear portrayal of this trend.
