Let's think about this obsession over Hillary's emails...

Email is a very effective way of communicating, right? And American patriots are in favor of effective communicating by those who run our government, right?

But if all emails must be revealed, those running our government will be very reluctant to use email. After all, their private non-email conversations can remain private - they cannot be forced to record or reveal all private conversations simply because some deranged congressman with bad hair wants to know what was said.

Do we REALLY want to discourage use of email with a "rule" that says all emails must be revealed?

And really, it was okay for Nixon to have those 18 minutes erased too.
Right?

IT IS THE SAME THING.

Bugs, yet again you miss the entire issue. No one wants to see or read Hillary's personal e-mail. That being said, Hillary does not have the legal right to determine which e-mails of hers were personal and which ones were government business. Hillary has a long track record of questionable behavior that demonstrates her belief that she plays by a different set of rules than everybody else. As a government employee she knew that her e-mails were subject to inspection as they should be. She is completely out of line withholding any e-mails of any kind as they no longer belong to her, they are technically all government property.
Agreed. The same applies to other politicians (John Ellis Bush, Scott Walker, etc.) who have improperly used private email to shield official business from the public.

These with held e-mails will be recovered by the government and when they are you can bet the shit will hit the fan. We will all then have an opportunity to see just how corrupt and dishonest Hillary really is.
We'll see what is recovered. Right now it looks like you're blowing a lot of smoke in the assumption that we'll eventually uncover a raging fire. Not sure why you are so confident though.

Her lies will have caught up to her and most likely she will be prosecuted and convicted only to be pardoned by Obama. The good news about all of this is that she will no longer be eligible to be involved in public service of any kind. She will not be allowed under the law.
Highly unlikely. Even if there is an appearance of impropriety with the concealment, surely it amounts to small potatoes. If she isn't being prosecuted for drone attacks on U.S. citizens, she's not going to be prosecuted over the email thing.

We are talking about some 30,000 deleted e-mails here. There isn't an appearance of impropriety of concealment. There is in fact an attempt on her part to delete information that does not belong to her to begin with. Her motive for taking such action is of high importance as she is not the one to determine which e-mails were her personal ones and which were official government business. Contempt prior to investigation is never a good idea, but in this case if there is not implied guilt then why is she so reluctant to provide this information immediately and without hesitation? This points to her attempt at covering up information she knows will sink her ship. We will see what is in these e-mails and we will get an opportunity to review what she deleted. Hillary has a lot of unanswered questions that need to be answered and dodging and stonewalling will not work in this case. Hillary has operated as the sole judge of these e-mails and she violated the law in doing so. She knows what is hidden in these e-mails and you can best bet she will make every attempt at preventing their disclosure.

I think the only reason there is a demand for her emails now is the fact that it's been revealed that she had her own private server for conducting official govt. business.
Amazing that some would have us believe that this demand for her to produce these emails just came out of the blue and for no reason.

And wouldn' t you know, there's nothing on her server now.

Yes. Being involved in criminal activity within the Democratic Party is seen as "small potatoes" to the Democrats around the country. They don't care if their choice of candidate has done Nixonesque activities. Nixon should go to hell for it while their "Lady" who has done the exact same thing can be their beloved president.

That's the way Democrats roll.
And they are proud of it.

Democrats are fine with Hillary and her Nixonesque activities and if the GOP wants to make a big deal out of it, the Democrats will slander and snipe them into oblivion.
It's a losing situation for the Republicans because the only honesty the Democrats want to see is with the Republicans...................their own Democrats are applauded for being dirty.

Are you aware that Nixon was not prosecuted?

Oh this post is so hilarious! Do you actually believe that some congressman has the right to go through all her emails is not the same as she has no privacy!!????

Clown shoes. What size do you wear?

I must have missed it when Bush asserted he could "drone" a US citizen at his discretion...
I happen to work with several companies that build drones. Drone use by the US military soared in 2002 to 2008. Don't tell me GWB and his admin did not use them any way they saw fit!! This is the same crew who tortured and had black sights where people of any country were tortured. You are either pretending you are clueless or you are.

FYI, everybody is free to delete their personal emails. Did Fox Noise convince you that only Hillary did so?

its the law - your official communications must be preserved to ensure no laws were broken.

hillary skirted the law to establish a private email system to co-mingle personal government documents. she then hired non-government employees to hand-pick which emails she would turn over for compliance with archiving requirements.

her presidential ambitions are shot. your defense is hilarious.

let's move on. you can now pick from warren, o'malley, cuomo or biden.

She did preserve official business emails and she turned them over.

I also consider both Bush and Obama to be war criminals. How about you? Both - or only Bush?

Translation: We are afraid for Hillary to run because we know she will win. Therefore, we must keep this email "issue" in the public eye, hoping it will derail her.

What planet do you live on?
She was Secretary of State she did not want her private emails read, fine nobody wants there private emails read.

Soooooo I don't know, DON'T SET UP A PRIVATE SERVER FOR BOTH YOUR PROFESSIONAL AND PRIVATE EMAILS. WHY NOT USE THE GOVERMENT EMAIL ADDRESS ASSIGNED TO YOU FOR YOUR DAY JOB OF WHICH YOUR COMMUNICATIONS WILL BE OF HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE AND....use your private email for actual private emails...........

Bush pushed for and lead the US Military in the invasion and occupation of Iraq and because he and his administration fought so hard for TORTURE. For these I consider him a war criminal. If Obama did these, please inform us. It would be news to everyone

Obama, besides the drone strikes, carried out acts of aggression against Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, South Sudan, Uganda, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Yemen, Iran, and Somalia.

Pugs like to babble about form over substance, especially to advance Hillary hate.

But no matter what server is used, government officials need not turn over personal emails.
