Most of this stuff you probably know but maybe there'll be something that can help:

• You can adjust your settings so that you will be "alerted" to certain posts (depending on your settings). Your alerts drop down if you hold the cursor over the "alert" word in the upper right. If you click on that alert you'll be taken directly to the post that you were alerted to.
• At the top of the screen in the second bar down you will find the tabs "recent posts" and "new posts". I don't know why we have both since they are almost the same, but "recent posts" will show your recent posts in the list while "new posts" will not.

Setting up your alerts is the most helpful way to go to recent posts that you want to see. You can set it up broadly or you can narrow it down. It's self explanatory as you go through.
Be sure to click on both "preferences" and "alert preferences" when you do that. You can find those options when you scroll over your name at the top right of the page. You don't need to click on your name. The list will drop down.

If you are posting from a phone it's not the same. I avoid using my phone because it's maddening.

I am glad you and Addy are here even if I rarely agree with you. It's not easy to post respectfully to those we disagree with in a huge and emotionally-packed way based on our personal experiences, but I believe it can be done.

We do have some good posters here: Arkady, MrMike, Barbella, LeilaniMP, Caroljo, Charcat, MrFriscus, justoffal, oicu812, MaxR, Lukey, and more from both sides are capable of posting some deep and substantial posts. Sure, these same posters sometimes post zingers.............. but if not for those, this forum would die very quickly.

I wish those posters who only post to agitate and antagonize and attack would step up and expand their posting spectrum.

You should hear my Trainer and I at the Y. We disagree on everything,then laugh and forget it. Until the next morning. But he sure has pushed me back to health. You should have seen me 5 months ago,so weak I had trouble walking. Now, I am getting muscles all over because of that mean,old man!
